Mine changed to delivery July 15 to 17 this morning. When my Bronco changed it arrived the next day.

It seems to be bigger issue for the early build weeks versus the ongoing line builds. I get it, better economics and logistics to keep the line rolling. But I guess I read the story of an early build Mach e who waited until October while all those later builds rolled off the line while his sat in a lot.Dang, I just read another article a few minutes ago that said the same thing. I thought Farley started that the Lightning wouldn't be subject to the chip hold. I also read that Platinum Lightnings are now also being held up for the contour seating shortage.

Wondering why they can't just do this or at very least get it shipped to the dealer so shipping is complete and let the truck stay there until the chips arrive. It seems to be bigger issue for the early build weeks versus the ongoing line builds. just send me cheese for my whine.
On the ford pass a few weeks ago I saw them driving the truck around (before I got kicked out)... had 71 some miles on it. In this case I wonder what "micro chips" it could actually be missing? Did something happened where they had to go back and replace some systems? We'll never know lol.Wondering why they can't just do this or at very least get it shipped to the dealer so shipping is complete and let the truck stay there until the chips arrive.

Could be minor like the Explorers and just be rear AC or something. I imagine they would prefer for it to sit in a parking lot for months than to deliver missing a chip......I'd like the option to go without a couple features for a month or two if it meant they could get me my truck now.On the ford pass a few weeks ago I saw them driving the truck around (before I got kicked out)... had 71 some miles on it. This is a pet peeve of mine, if they miss scans to ensure accurate production flow, they are wasting valuable data,, these missed steps don't appear critical to movement of the truck, off the assembly line, post build treatments, holding areas, staging for transport, etc.I think they get lost, there have been too many that have received their trucks without updates. Either that or along the way they are not being scanned.
I believe the ford authority article said chips missing were for wipers and or backup camera. On the ford pass a few weeks ago I saw them driving the truck around (before I got kicked out)... had 71 some miles on it.
