Got Shipped Email finally, so hit up Ford Chat to get the railcar number. The rep had it pretty quickly. It’s on Norfolk Southern and delivery is to Albany.

Tracking by calling NS said the train was in Holt, MO. Nowhere near me but at least I know the train is moving.

Delivery estimate is still 07/26-08/01 and I doubt it will hit that.

Side note..... I have your VIN in the Auto Trader study, a week or so ago it flipped to shipped then a few days later reverted to Built / awaiting transit, hopefully you are REALLY SHIPPED this time around, as all trackers are agreeing now.

I have been tracking the truck via the app. It arrived in Portland, Oregon Monday 7/18. Was unloaded from the rail car Tuesday 7/19. It sat there Wednesday. Today 7/21 it was driven to the dealership from the rail yard and I will be picking it up this evening! I was surprised they are able to do the pre-delivery inspection so quick as others reported a day. They are completing it 6-7 hours from arriving at dealer to my scheduled appt to pick up.

The dealer said they are short on trucking and the dealer employees are driving them from the rail yard to the dealer. I'm happy they are doing this so it doesn't sit at the yard waiting. Luckily, it is less than 20 miles away so there isn't a big impact to odometer.

Haha yea I saw that too and thought it was strange. I just figured it was their system acting up. Fingers crossed it’s actually shipped. Getting awfully close to my CAFCU rate lock expiring.

Congratulated me and told me that the vehicle was now "built" but was awaiting "shipment".
In terms of what is to come:

1-2 weeks to be shipped.
Then 2-3 weeks in shipment (by train).
1-2 weeks at the staging area (blue something).
then 1-2 weeks for convoy delivery to the dealership.
1 week to prep and then take delivery!

8+ weeks to go !


sigh. why can't tesla just hurry up and start producing the CT :/

I received my shipped email from Ford 6/14 and going to Carlsbad but still have yet to be delivered. Delivery estimate changed 4 times. Count on possible delay.
