Made them with 12v bulbs tied into the 4 pin trailer connector.

I have a 2nd gen lightning badge that I taped on temporarily. Its a little too big for the space so I'm going to order a smaller one. I think the rear is in need of more overt lightning branding.

Does anyone know if it's possible to order the current generation lightning badge at this point from ford? I really think it would look nice in the same location where Raptor is on the second generation raptor tailgate (photo for reference)

Did you build the wiring harness yourself or do harness-to-bulb adaptors already exist? I love it. I would rock it when I want a laugh or go camping.

I soldered it myself.

Plus some shrink tube wrap to give it a more finished look. I used red gel film to change the bulb color.

I picked up one of these from Amazon and am waiting on it to come in. I am concerned about it messing with truck functions as well, but it so dang cute!

What would be the best way to bypass the truck detecting it, assuming it does?

You'd probably need to splice into one of the running light wires in order to avoid deactivation of the reverse safety systems.

Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll look up the wiring diagram and try to splice into the brake light wiring directly. This is an insert for the hitch that turns red with the brake is applied. It would make for a much neater install look too.
