Canadian Lightning Owners: does your headlight settings menu show an option for "glare-free" headlights?

Does anyone in Canada have a glare-free setting in their headlights menu? I'm trying to determine whether Lightnings have hidden matrix (glare free) headlights like some trims of the ICE F150s. Note that glare-free is different the the dynamic bending lights that swivel the beams in turns.

Although the Job 2 MY2022 ICE trucks were not supposed to have glare free headlights, there are reports that some ICE trucks were still shipped with them.

I know the design for the headlight stack is completely different in the Lightning, but it's possible the hardware is present and can be activated in FORScan. I can surface the glare free setting in the menu by altering the APIM settings in FORScan, but I don't notice any difference in headlight behavior. I have tried editing the setting in the other modules using the data from the ICE versions to no avail. That doesn't necessarily mean that the hardware isn't there, though.

Very interesting--thanks for the photo! That means that the Lightnings were probably shipped with glare free hardware even though it wasn't specified in the build sheets for either the USA or Canada. I'm going to pull some as built data from Canadian builds to see if I can get them to work on my lariat.

We will need someone to identify the correct asbuilt configuration needed to enable them using FORscan. I'm hoping that it's only a matter of identifying the HCM (headlight control module) settings. I should have time this weekend to play around with it some more.

It's a cool effect that forms a high beam around cars you're following and cars that pass in the oncoming lanes. I thought the auto high beams with all on/all off were jarring and distracting--the localized dimming with the glare-free function is much less distracting.

It's definitely an improvement over the standard settings.

It places a button for glare-free under the lighting menu in vehicle settings that lets you disable it. I think you lose the ability to use the standard auto dimming headlights when you enable glare-free in FORScan, but I'm not sure.

I have 2023 XLT Canadien and i don't see that option in my light settings ;

Is it something you enable via Fordscan ?
