Price Protection? - $100 Increase in Destination/Delivery

I spoke with my dealer who said he didn't see any programs that covers the $100 increase.
I called Ford Customer Service and they said Destination / Delivery charges are not covered under Price Protection.

What is your experience?
For those who ordered before the increase, did you end up saving the $100?
Anyone have specific knowledge as to whether the dealer/Ford are correct that Destination/Delivery IS NOT price protected?

I also heard that the destination/delivery charge increase is not protected so I don't think there is much we could do here.

Ford price protection covers destination and delivery. If you ordered before a price increase you are protected at the previous price. Some much smarter and more informed folks on here can attest to this. I still have this battle ahead but “they” say, have the dealer pull up your purchase in SMART VINcent and your offers, price, order should all reflect what was available on the day of your order being placed. I ordered a Mache right before those went up and there was much discussion on the MME forum. I tried to upload a screenshot from my iCloud account but this forum n my iCloud account don’t like each other. Go to the MME forum and search on price protection. Good luck.

Does anyone know if Portable charging cable was included in the first round for Pro and is price protected? Or we had to pay for it on 22 model as well?

My printout from ford.com showed a destination price of 1695 when I printed it out after ordering. I kept the printout. The next day the dealer printed the order & it showed 1795. Do I have a case for price protection?

Sometime in April 2022.

I was caught in this as well.
Ordered when D&D was $1695.
Dealer claims it's now $1795 and would not give me back the difference.

I get the feeling they charged me $100 and then went back to Ford to get the extra $100 back = $200 more profit..

I was in 4/12 wave 6 but I did not order until 4/23. So I guess I have to pay $100 more.

My dealer did not have it @ the lower price.

I wasn't going to care about $100 on a ~$57K purchase, but.... The Financing guy annoyed me, so I had him adjust it. They weren't really aware of this price change, and didn't know what to do, but just gave me the $100 off because why argue on .1% of the purchase price.

Now you know the quality of the dealer you did business with and how they treat their customers for .1%. What will they do for .1 tells you what they will do for anything including 0% and do you trust them for your next purchase. If mine does this on the Lightning I am have arriving in a couple weeks, I am moving the Mach E order after the Lightning check clears my checking account. Heck, I might even put the Lightning on my credit card to screw the dealership out of merchant fees if they don’t play nice.

My dealer honored my original $1,695 shipping fee under Ford’s price protection policy and credited me $100 on my sales paperwork…..
