Ford.ca site hasn't been working for me most days and when it did finally work yesterday, it still said In Production, but OrderTrack just show up as In Transit!

Yes, it's bouncing back to input screen at the moment, a rare situation that cures in a few days.

My rail car is TTGX975374, CNR. I tried tracking with the CSX phone tracer but the update given there had a date of April 28.

Then I called UP and got a trace response after fighting with the IVR trying to understand "T" "T" "G" "X" for a while lol

Loaded, arrived 8/17 5:01pm
Estimated time of interchange delivery Salem, IL 8/17 9:23pm

I didn't find it until after I did my purchase yesterday and spent nearly 4K on the 8 year/100K Ford ESP plan. Hopefully I'd be able to get a refund on that plan and go with this if the quote comes back significantly cheaper for the same plan.

I was looking at my Ford account today. Still shows in production. Used the chat and below is what the lady told me:

Thank you for your patience. Your order current status is "In Production" this means the manufacturing plant is building your vehicle.'Received Ramp 51, Flat Rock, MI Aug-09-2022, 09:54 ET

I don't know what Ramp 51 is, and neither did she. I asked if she could see the anticipated shipping date. She said 8/16. I had to tell her that was yesterday. She had nothing further to add other than be patient.

Ramp 51 is usually the factory parking lot waiting for some stage of production (QA / shipping allocation / chip / spray liner)

Has anyone had a bedliner truck ship yet? I still have nothing...last I heard was the dealer saying that the computer said 8/15 but to not believe it.

My analysis on the warranty is that $50 is my sweet spot for the deductible. If I have more than 3 but less than 7 warranty service visits then $50 is best the last time I checked. I’m going to assume this first year new design truck will fall in that category of 4-6 visits, but I’m not out a ton if it has more issues.

I called my dealer and asked them if they had any tracking info. They told me they show a delivery window between Aug 23-26. Much quicker than the web site's Sept 7-13 estimate. I guess we'll see who is correct.
