Anyone name their truck? Ours is now called Hey Joule in FordPass. Told my wife that this is as exciting as having our 3 kids born decades ago Popp'in modules! Breathe..... hit refresh....La EVze method. Have to say this is alot easier

Blue Lobster here... it's going to be a work truck for a Lobster company and while there are loads of Lobsters out there, blue ones are one in a couple million.

Interesting. In Production date showed up before the tear tag for me.

When talked to support once I had both and at that point they had an ETA. I am sure there are a bunch of variables for when they can provide one - still expecting mine to shift by the time the Ford page shows the ETA.

My In-Production date showed up about the day before I got my tear tag: 8/30/22

Oh wow... haha. That would suck to have your truck sent for further investigation. Maybe I do should tread lightly with the activation. Or just locking and unlocking the doors. Who is watching the truck at night anyways

Thinking about calling it "Low Rider" - since it'll be the car with the lowest roof line that i own.

I have a 2018 F150 and a 2004 Jeep Wrangler both with a 4.5" lift. I'll keep the Lightning stock for now b/c I do plan to use it every once in a while to tow my trailer. Any mile of range counts! It's not as easy as just carrying auxiliary cans, when you already have a 36g tank

Mine has been named "Blue Thunder" since the first configure and save. I have been able to save it to Ford Pass as "Blue Thunder". Seriously thinking about custom plates.

As I was reading, I remembered my previous F150 the lights flash on and off (inside/out) when you lock/unlock. Can you see the poor guards face who has the night shift. Trucks beeping, lights going on/off, doors locking and unlocking. Imagine all of them doing that all night long, I'd be super guilt of it. I'm going out on a limb here and going to say that IMPO it is why activations are locked until marked delievered. Still funny as hell, but I get it.

I got a production date of 1-Sep-2022 this morning, but no tear tag yet. I believe i've been once you see one the other is not far away... Either way not too worried, i have modules and we know that means it is alive.

I drove by my dealer today and there was a car carrier unloading some new trucks... Not gonna lie I almost went off the road rubber necking to see if there was a blue lightning on board. I know it's too early, but with a delivery window of the 4th-10th, I was hoping maybe it came in a little early. No such luck though.
