2022 Lightning Platinum XPEL Stealth Wrapped

UPDATE: decided I unequivocally did not like the smoked light bar at night but still did not love the standard light bar. Did some thinking and decided what I don’t like it how big and “fluorescent tube light-like” it looks. Had my painter strip it down and blacked out all sides except the most front facing panel. I think it came out really great and it looks really good when it lights up! Added more pics below.

Also I get this isn’t for everyone. This was the look I wanted and I’m really happy with the results!

• Blacked out front light bar
• Smoked side mirror lights
• Smoked tail lights
• Smoked CHMSL
• Black painted roof rail gutter area
• Removed Lightning badges

I went with Xpel Stealth as well on my Agate Black, and absolutely love it!

I was thinking of blacking out or heavily tinting the front light bar on mine (just picked it up today!) but in your pictures it gives off a brownish hue. Does it look better in person than these pictures?

Love the stealth wrap. Would love to do that to mine one day.

Yes I’ll post some other photos when I can. When sunlight is going directly through it you can see that it’s not blacked out. It allows the light inside to come through so it’s only “smoked” not entirely blacked out. That said the direct setting sunlight on it and the camera lens gave that appearance. This is what it looked like before it was clear coated.

He wrapped it with tint first and I didn’t like it, so we did option 2 which was painting. I liked the look better.
