Spotted: Avalanche Lightning XLT (new 2023 color)

Again, these photos were taken on Ford's campus in Dearborn, MI. There are MY23 Lightnings getting scheduled to be built next month, so Ford should have MY23 test vehicles running around right now.

I went back to the RAW photo (I shot these with a Nikon Z6ii), corrected for over-exposure, and color corrected it to 5500k (direct daylight). Here's the result:

Photographing off-white is a PITA..

Taken today at the Ford Event and Conference Center that's across the street from The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.

Ford did not make a Space White Lightning. Avalanche Grey is a new MY23 Lightning color.

It’s star or Oxford white to me

Hmmm not sure. If it is avalanche it looks a little blue in that picture, but it probably changes a lot depending on the lighting.

Guaranteed not Oxford White. Look at the label on the rear bumper and then compare it to this ICE F-150 photo of Oxford White and Space White:

Well, that looks pretty sweet -- still a little blue on my monitor, but good. It's funny the pictures I've seen of Raptors with Avalanche are not as blue. Maybe it's my monitor. (My order is Avalanche)

Not at all. Porsche’s chalk is an ICE color…It’s more like Rivian’s Limestone.
