Any updates on the Kicker?
Goes in tomorrow morning, but, I would expect it to sound better than the factory. The factory "subwoofer" literally makes most low frequencies sound horrendous. I'll update tomorrow night...

as a musician, the PRO's base system works for me, although I did just today add a Rockville BASS underseat subwoofer for some added 'umpph'...

I hope this gives you what you are looking for, but I'm afraid this stereo needs more than a new sub.

Ford has never impressed me with an audio system, and the one in my 2021 Bronco is particularly crappy. I’m assuming the F-150 system suffers from similar component issues, but the speaker size and position is superior so it should sound better initially. Here are some simple upgrade path solutions:

Upgrade speakers. OEM speakers are usually bargain basement junk and replacements are not difficult or very expensive. Spending $300-400 on replacement speakers even without the amp makes a big difference. For using off stock amplification I look for a higher sensitivity (more efficient speaker) and something that can produce in the lower ranges down to 40Hz.

Add amplification. I don’t know if it works on the B&O, but there are many happy Bronco customers who added the Kicker Key 200.4 amp to the stock system. I purchased a kit from https://plugnplaykits.com/ but haven’t installed it yet. Users report significant improvement even with stock speakers.

Add a subwoofer. I’m considering something like a Kicker HS10 powered sub. It’s an all in one unit that just needs signal and power/ground. I’m not sure about the capabilities of the 12v system for adding accessories, I think I read somewhere it could support a max of 55 amps

Add some sound deadener. Adding a little weight to the panels in the form of sound deadener changes the resonance frequency of the panel. This makes the truck quieter going down the road. This might not be necessary on the Lightning depending on how good of a job Ford did on making them quiet.

Has anyone heard the sound in Pro? If yes, please share your impression especially if you have heard B&O in higher trims as well.
I own a pro and was thinking originally that I would have to upgrade the speakers. They are fine for me, nothing special. The lariat does sound better, but it’s not a crazy difference.

I'll echo the disappointment in the B&O System, just meh at best. My old truck had all aftermarket components so it's a bit of a downgrade. I'm looking at moving over my JL 900/5 amp and 13.5" sub over to the lightning along with some new speakers. I guess I'll need some sort of DSP to get the signals to the new amp. I haven't really looked into this part of things since it's fairly new to me. I'll also need to build a box to house the sub, hopefully I can get it to fit behind the rear seats.

Sounds good stereo in Nashville has some great products for f150s. They are looking for a lightning to do some R&D on. If you’re local to them, I’m sure they’d make it worth your while

Did you get it installed? Is it worth it?
On hold, dealership didn't have diagram to use, they want to wait. Probably going to take it to audio installer since it's a groud, power and signal setup...

I'm confused on the ford accessories website it says this and charges for it:

"REQUIRES Dealer installation and programming via OBD"
