I like it! The emblem looks matte in the link provided, but glossy in your picture. I assume your picture is more accurate. Was that easy to install?

Yes, glossy like the original badge.

Fairly easy to install. Remove the snap in clips under the frunk to remove the trim covers. I think it was 8 bolts, the grill insert will pull off, it is lightly snapped in place. I removed the screws from the backing plate for the camera, then removed the nuts from the back of the emblem. I had never done it, never watched a video and took me about 20 minutes start to finish

I have a note into the accessory team for them to let me know when the smaller rear emblem will be available. For some reason they use a different size for lariat and platinum.

No kidding, it will be awhile before I‘ll wait that long for another vehicle.

I actually just remembered Aramis at Deviate Dezigns sent me a rendering of the HF6-1’s using @jredondox ’s truck. His are 22’s and I ordered 20’s.

Thanks @flypony53, and since I'm hanging out in his thread, I can't forget to give @jredondox all the credit for inspiring me to matte mine out! I've actually had my eye on that LED front badge, but was hoping Putco would release a plug-n-play harness while I'm debating if I'll do anything with the grill and what to do with the light bar.

Did you buy the LED badge with the startup animation sequence? There was some discussion a few months ago about there being two different versions.

Putco said there are 2 versions the aftermarket and OEM if you buy the OEM emblem Ford said it won’t do the startup sequence and it is half as bright as the aftermarket.

Also, if you haven't seen one before, here's some photos of a Platinum CGM with Xpel Stealth. I really love the matte look on darker vehicles.

Mine is not the light up LED, it is just the standard replacement badge blacked out.
Love that matte look as well. I think I need to rethink it and bite the bullet.
