Did you get $7000 "Model year transition private cash offer"?

Ford has offered 22 pricing to some 23 orders. If you are one of the individuals that was offered that price guarantee, I am very curious what was the experience with your dealer? Did they honor it? Despite the fact that Ford had that incentive on their site during ordering process and they continue to say I am entitled to it, neither Ford nor the dealer put that number in writing anywhere. Ford says it is up to the dealer if they will apply it. My dealer refuses to give me any assurance they will apply that at the time of sale. I would appreciate it if those of you that have taken delivery share your experience in this regard. And if you have not taken delivery yet, please come back to this thread when you have yours and share.

On a side note, if you did not order the $500 portable charger, did you end up getting one with your delivery anyway? I know it sounds like a stupid question but that is what one of Ford reps told me will happen (I am not sure as a parent of 22 price guarantee or he was just on something that day).

Your dealer can not guarantee something that is not available.

Any respectable dealer would never guess nor promise something that is not there.

Until your truck is almost built and Ford has invoiced the dealer, the dealer will not be able to tell you the amount on your certificate (PCO) on their SMART VINcent.

My Ford dealer has been transparent with me from the start - showed me his screen and shows a certificate but no value. Dealer said once they get invoiced, they will be able to tell me the value.

The PCO is applied as a "Manufacturer's Rebate" on your contract, thus lowering your effective net cost.

My MME order is also a '22 pushed into '23 with a build week of 12/5 and is in Priority 1 build status.

My dealer has acknowledged that the private offer is there but since my truck has not been delivered they won’t get into final numbers yet. I’m at least trying to get them to at least confirm the process but that’s been a struggle

It's an expiration for your order to be placed by.

The dealer will not know the transitional PCO until they are invoiced because of the trim and options that was installed.

My dealer verbally said confidently that I am getting about $6,000 PCO from Ford with my trim (Premium RWD SR).

Had I chosen a higher trim, the PCO would be almost $9,000 !

Ford rep told me I should get $7K for my Pro (the exact difference between 22 and 23 pricing when I ordered). I wonder if dealer has discretion on how much of it they will pass on or it is an all or nothing deal.

Some dealers are unscrupulous and will keep some or all of the money hoping the customer does not realize what they left on the table.

I'd ask your dealer as soon as you get notified that the truck is built or has shipped.

They can check their SMART VINcent and find out how much is the PCO certificate is.

That will tell you what type of dealer you are going buy from.

Order had to place by 9/30. 1/3/23 is the expiration date of the private offer by the ford cs rep said it will “most likely be extended” if you don’t take delivery.

They can check their SMART VINcent and find out how much is the PCO certificate is.

Is there any live websites I have access to that I can use to show them the amount of PCO? In case they say we can't see anything and we can't let you look at SMARTVINcent? I am just looking for plan B if they start play dumb.

That's from a Ford dealer.

I don't think you will have to do anything that extreme.

Their sales manager or finance manager will be able to look up your certificate in their Smart VINcent system - after all MD is a ZEV state.

If they can't or won't, then you have have a bigger problem...
