So... I parked my baby at the Birmingham Airport for a week while we were in Costa Rica. That's the scariest thing ever. I don't think I'll be doing that again. Luckily it was not harmed but I worried the whole time we were gone.

Did it lose any range during the week?

And how many times did you check the app to make sure it was still there?

Was there any service/option to charge while it was parked?

A parking company near our usual airport of choice offers to L2 charge if you give them your flight schedule. Not sure how much I trust someone handling that for me.

I’ve done that with my Tesla with mixed results. It’s more stressful than it was worth.

I found the best method is to find a lot with standard outlets. I’ll plug the car into the 120v and trickle charge it. Since it’s sitting there a while it’s the perfect way to top off.

There’s a surprising amount of 120v available, we’re just not used to looking for it

Who from 7/11 has the most miles? Miles put on my long or short term rentals don’t count, sorry @Yellow Buddy ;)

I've got a paltry 2,482 on the ODO after 3 months.

I still have you beat!

The F-150L is about to hit 6,000 miles, about 3,000 were mine. The R1T is at about 4,000.

Here’s the crazy part, I’ve been out of town for 6 of the last 14 weeks. That means I’m averaging 875 miles a week!

I rolled 3,048 this morning. Tomorrow is going to be the first "road trip" of 500 or more.

I did not ask about charging. I was confident it would not be a problem because I left it with about 70% charge.

I have 2340 miles as of 3 secs ago according to the world's most disappointing software- Ford Pass ap.

What do you have against the app? I don’t think it’s that bad
The app consistently shows the target charge for a location, which is great most of the time. But when I “one-time” charge to 100% on the SYNC display, or via the app tell it to charge to 100%, the app still displays 85% or 90% (whatever the locations preferred charge is) as the target charge, not the 100% I requested.

So last night, preparing to leave my parents house this morning, I plug in L2 and have to guess if it’s actually going to go to 100%, or am I going to have to wait for several more hours to charge at L2 to get the charge I need.

I still love my truck, but there’s some quirks that make it more challenging to use some times.

Let's see.. how much time do you have?
It seems to never be in Sync with the information in the truck. It is slow to update information, remote start, or just simply lock and unlock doors. Dont even get me started on the missing controls such as climate controls and windows. The charging controls are hit and miss when it come to presetting charging limits. The trip planner sucks because it is missing many addresses that are found in Google maps and changing the route that it suggests(which is often wrong) is troublesome. I do not like the ap and the sad thing is I have to use it daily while convincing others it is the greatest thing ever.
There is zero reason not to have full control of every desirable setting available in the trucks UI.

On the topic of the Trucks UI... I know I'm not the only one that the truck continuously screws up the "this trip" details. That irritates me.

We’ll maybe I’m not that far off from the norm (mileage wise at least) as I thought. Spent much of the last few months sick and at home due to all the kindergarten germs my kids brought home lol.

@Ford Senior Master yep I’ve noticed the same, mostly since the last OTA really. Prior to that the trip details seemed to be relative accurate, now it’s combining trips a lot more.
