And actually now that I recognize where this sheet comes from, I can say I think you are mistaken. That is not the price protection sheet. That is the exact sheet that they gave me confirming my PRIVATE CASH OFFER, which is separate from the price protection. They have confirmed the private cash offer fortunately but not the price protection.

English is my second language and I am not sure how to read #2 under A. It seems like dealer still can say you will get your check for $7K when I get something from Ford. How do you guys read it?

it has nothing to do with the 7k PCO it has to do with the 5K second price increase on the PRO model

or for any car that was ordered and then the price was raised before it was delivered

I guess I should say its to correct a price increase from what your build is listed in the DORA system compared to the window sticker,

Regardless of for which one it is, my concern is that it looks like it could be read by dealer as you will get your check whenever I feel like it not price reduction at the time of pick up.

Yep its a crazy deal! All us pro extenders hit the jackpot. Except I'm missing one key!
yea I cant wait! I didn't chose any options, so my price will be nuts as long as all goes smoothly unlike the OP. Also assuming my likely Jan delivery will qualify for federal credit

without one key can we still "remote start"? what about pre-condition timer?

I think you're still confusing the $7k PCO and the $5k price protection. That sheet was given to me confirming my $7k private cash offer for being a MY 22 to 23 extension. The private cash offer according to the left side, as I understand it, is kind of like a discount code that you would apply when checking out for a purchase online. They apply that cash offer discount and it reduces the cost of my vehicle (or bill of sale in their wording) by $7000. For the price protection there is no code or offer that they apply. They simply go back into DORA and find the original invoice dated from when the order was made and apply that invoice instead of the current MSRP invoice they get from Ford when the vehicle makes it to the dealership.

That is exactly what I was told this morning, "I went into DORA and found the original invoice when you placed your order and that confirmed the original pricing so I will use that invoice instead of the most recent one". Hope that helps to clarify.

I have this sheet (DORA?) printed out from my dealer with a signature from one of them saying "price will be MSRP" and they circled the MSRP. This was before Ford raised the price $5k. So you think I'll be ok? Of course the dealer could still try to argue and claim no, but this sheet should be their word and what they agreed to

On the forum. Folks have had both price protection and cash offer applied at the pick up time. May be I misunderstood how it was applied.

No that isn’t a DORA sheet. DORA is something within their system that they can check to see anytime a price change was made on a vehicleβ€”including modifications to the build or price increases. If they signed and acknowledge your cash incentive sheet that is them acknowledging your price so they SHOULD honor it. If the don’t, tell them to speak with their ford rep and find the original DORA from your order date.

I think you’ve got it correct. My invoice MSRP is $49,749, which was the price as of my order and not today. That is taking into account the price protection. When I get to the dealer tonight, they will apply the rebate for the $7000 private cash offer, which will reduce my purchase price out the door to $42,749 plus tax, fees, registration, etc.

Any other federal/state rebates and incentives will be done after purchase privately.

Did you pay Tax to that $7K or it was deducted from total first and you pay tax on the actual cost of the truck to you?
