✅ 8/7/2023 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

Hello Everybody,
I joined this forum on July 3rd 2023 and I enjoy reading the various experiences encountered by the lucky F150 Lightning owners. I'm learning a lot about the current expectations and sometimes strange behaviors (issues) of these "computer networks on wheels" and it is a great help for learning the do's and don'ts when I will finally get my own.

Made my reservation on 6/10/2021, received email from Ford 3/30/2023 to submit my build which was approved on 4/02/2023.... June 6 2023 received notification from Ford build 8/7/2023 along with the VIN info. A day later the build date showed 8/8/2023 for my Platinum trim level.

On a side note, I have never been able to get close or ride in an F150 Lightning; all the notifications for local showing were always fully booked.....
But my oldest Son surprised me for this 2023 Father's day by renting an F150 Lightning Lariat standard range for a couple days from Turo. We were able to enjoy the ride and I had the pleasure to finally drive the beast! After that experience, I can now see why so many people enjoy this truck; it's fast, very quiet, spacious and comfortable..... And my wife can't wait to use that mega power frunk for the Costco trips.....
I now hope to see mine built, shipped and delivered, so me too can enjoy the daily drive in an EV; no more stopping by the gas stations!
By the way, it will be my very first pickup truck; super excited....

Good news, just received the window sticker information for my F150 Lightning Platinum trim and it shows the latest new base MSRP price of $91,995.... I'm in the process of checking with my dealership that they will accept this new pricing.

Same here. MSRP price has been adjusted. Dealer already said they would honor new price and maybe better.

Thank you for sharing, if you are getting spray in bed liner these numbers and a couple others will change tomorrow morning, save a PDF copy of this version, then if you a different version tomorrow save that one too.

This is the largest number [1530] of Lightnings scheduled for a week since production began in early 2022!

Yes, I am getting the spray bed liner and I'll check again tomorrow. Interesting thing about the sticker it was supposed to be visible tomorrow according to your first posting but I decided to do a quick check today and here it was.....

90% of the time the stickers have been showing late Wednesday night, the balance late Thursday.

Looked at your sticker, the values in pink changed, this doesn't impact actual build day, just routing post main line to spray in shop.

661 trucks with special handling (mostly the liner process)

Looking at previous built date forums.. looks like 2-3 months from production date to getting the truck is the average?

30-45 days based on a truck in my market delivered today, blend day was 6/12, built 6/20, shipped 7/3 arrived at the dealer 7/27

Rouge plant to Southern New England via Rail at East Brookfield Mass then Convoy to Seekonk Mass
