Since it appears that Ford is not in any hurry to fix the phone audio issue with Android Auto (https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...auto-making-outgoing-calls-not-working.14057/) which is very frustrating, I thought I would jut switch to Sync4 and give up on AA. While the experience is not as nice as as AA, at least the phone call part appears to work. However, playing media using Spotify or YT Music via bluetooth, it appears that I can't "browse" like I can with AA. It instead display a message to the effect of the current media player does not support browse feature. It is annoying to have to fiddle with the phone to play the next podcast or whatever. Does anyone know what media players support this feature?
Thanks
SV.

Spotify is really the only reason that I use Android Auto, but I still find the Android Auto Spotify experience to be lacking. I have no interest in any other aspect of Android Auto, so it would be really nice if Ford could just build Spotify into Sync somehow. I wonder if the Spotify Car Thing might be of use to you in your situation and keep you from fiddling with your phone while driving. I have been giving it a little thought myself lately, since, like you, I am really getting annoyed with the terrible call quality when in Android Auto in my truck.

Car Thing. Spotify's new smart player designed for your drive.

Tidal is amazing!
I switched to Tidal after I did a stereo upgrade for the higher bit rate. Looks like the CarPlay implementation is pretty robust. I don't mess with it much either just playing a playlist or letting it select the next song.

Navigating tech hiccups with media players can be quite a headache, especially when you just want to cruise and enjoy your tunes or podcasts seamlessly. It's strange that Sync4 isn't offering a smooth browsing experience with Spotify or YT Music via Bluetooth. Usually, it should allow some level of control over your playlists and tracks.
Anyone else getting an AI answer vibe with the keywords reused the way they are? :)

Wow we have a bot from the UK here. How exciting. It's only previous post was about a mortgage bank in England.

Or maybe the British just naturally sound more intelligent that us hicks. Cheers!
