I wasn't thrilled about the feature deletes or hefty price, and I was on the fence about just waiting for the T3. Then quite a few very lightly used 22's started to show up at decent price points, so I jumped on a Lariat ER and couldn't be happier with it.

Trading it for a T3 is still on the table when the time comes, but it'll have to be a very significant upgrade to make me seriously consider it.

Yep, the order was through a dealer I've worked with before on our Mach-E, and he was aware that I had both been waiting to place an order for about a year and also that I wasn't sure about following through. Full refund was no issue and he knows if I go for a T3 that it will be through him.

Very frustrating. From what taxmanhog says my truck went down the line on Thursday but still nothing from Ford. I'm starting to wonder if I will ever get my truck.

There is a good possibility that this build week and the week of 8/28 [which is running next week] could go straight onto rail cars, based on last years trends after a pause and resumption cycle, hold the faith.

My Lariat SR had a blend date of 8/27/2023. It is now showing "in production" and dated 9/2/2023. Additionally, my BCE Modules (whatever those are) appear to be loaded. This is the first sign of progress I've seen in a very long time.
But wait, there's more: the Ford Pass App now shows a button that says "Activate Vehicle." (I'm afraid to click it to find out what happens.)

But wait, there's more: the Ford Pass App now shows a button that says "Activate Vehicle." (I'm afraid to click it to find out what happens.)

Go-ahead and press the "Activate Vehicle" in the Ford Pass App; it will be a confirmation that your VIN number is valid (the vehicle exist) and it will attempt to communicate with your truck and then return a message : "ACTIVATION PENDING".
If you're lucky somebody at the factory has to move your truck they could continue the activation process, but there no guarantee for this to happen. It did happen for few people, but not yet for me.... I have been in that "ACTIVATION PENDING" mode for over a week now... Hopefully my truck will reach the designated dealership before that happens and then I will be the one finishing the activation process... Keeping fingers crossed.

Reservation Date: 6/3/2021
Order Date: 12/16/2022
Order Confirmed: 12/19/2022
Build Week: 8/21/2023
Blend Date: 8/27/2023
In Production: 9/2/2023
BCE Modules Loaded: 9/2/2023

I called Ford Customer Service today and asked for an update, and thought I’d share it with you all. My XLT had a blend date of 8/21 and was marked in the website as “In Production” on 8/25. I don’t know the exact date but I’ve had tear tags for about a week.
The rep said “Your truck is marked as complete and has been shipped off site, but it doesn’t tell me where, likely to an auto body shop.” I assume this is for the spray in liner. She then said “We have an anticipated delivery day of 9/9 - 9/15 at your dealership.” I doubt this is possible, as I live in Spokane, WA. The Ford website hasn’t updated since 8/27, so this is all I got for now. It’s something!

The off-site line has been common (mostly liners), and seems to be a bottleneck area. There’s apparently no info on when trucks may return from there, let alone how fast they’ll ship when they do.

I finally have a tear tag. The Ford website still shows the truck as "in production" with a date of 8/31/23.

My wife is now joking with me as I have been waiting two years for this truck and we just returned her Edge lease and got a Mustang Mach e for her. now she has an EV before I do :-(
