I feel like ever since the owners manual update, I get a rear occupant reminder every time I get in the car. I don't want this. It's not even turned on.

How can I make it stop!!??

Try switching it on for a day to calm the trucks nerves, then switch it off and see if the neurosis recurs.

I did just that. I turned it on. It doesn't remind me now. It's still on.

I give up.

I've had this happen before as well. I think there's something off sometimes about the sensors under the back seats that detect weight. Try raising them and lowering them again, make sure nothing under them is preventing them from settling completely into place.

Sounds like it's now working correctly. Even when on, you only get the message if someone or something is on the back seat. Mine is on but I only get the warning when the dog is with me and "sits" back there.
