I ordered Antimatter Blue Metallic XLT and ended up getting an Avalanche Lariat. Avalanche is not a color I would honestly even have considered, seeing it inside the vehicle builder on the Ford website. Seeing it in person, it is AWESOME. I think you'll be okay.

I think so too, I saw a powerboost in Avalanche the other day and it made my neck snap in a good way...It's unique in it's own right.

Has anyone talked financing with the dealership yet? When I asked about the rate today they said 7% or 8%. I feel like this is asinine!

I was just in my dealership early this week, talked about the missing scales, wondered if I should wait for the 2024's, and he assured me I can still get the 1.9% that was offered when I ordered it. He seemed sure of it. The 1.9% is just if I get < 36 month loan, any longer amount the rate goes way up. I'm still not sure he's right, but if the financing doesn't come through at 1.9% I may wait until the 2024 flash model.

(BTW, I have an XLT so I don't get the real big dealer discount of the fancy trucks.)

I like unique colors on my car, and this was the only one that stood our for me in 2023. My daily driver has a unique color as well, easier to pick out in a parking lot. I think they killed this color for 2024 so that makes me like it even more

Okay, looking through Ford's website, they claimed the dealership actually had it? I called the dealer, and my sales guy is a moron. He said they didn't have it, and I said "maybe, Ford says you have it but they haven't been great at communicating". He asked when I placed the order, I said August, he said "yeah there's no way we have your truck" very emphatically. I said "no problem, thought I'd check." Dealer said "We just received a truck this morning, we could maybe sell you that one in a couple days?" and I said "Is it Azure Grey?" and he said "Yep" and I said "Yeah dude that's my truck."

So turns out my truck IS here, and it's gonna take them a week to prep because the sales manager is out, and then the sales guy is out, and at this point I just want nothing more to do with them. I hate Elon Musk with a passion but the fact that we placed a vehicle for order and they drove it to us a week later and we did everything online, was *chefs kiss*

Every time I see another post about their status change I rush back to the Ford tracker and get bummed. I think Taxman said there's just 5 of us left without Built status or better?

Same thing happened to me. my tracker went from Built back to Order confirmed on Tuesday morning and I got a text from my salesperson on Tuesday evening saying that the truck had arrived. I am picking it up tomorrow. CSP is still showing but no mention from my dealer that I cannot pick up the truck.

Got an update - after 2 weeks I went from "built" to... "order confirmed".

Very good, you are shipping! talk to Ford Chat, they can give you the train number if it's going by rail.

Just updated by Ford Chat that my truck is at CN Markham Yard (Chicago suburb). I think this is where it will transfer over to the semi carrier.

Are you searching these by hand? I could probably whip up a tool in a few hours that you feed it a spreadsheet, and it spits out "codes" for status and date. Assuming Ford lets me poke the API.

The Ford system has an aggressive reCaptcha strategy, after about 20 queries the user is required to do more than check a box, visual challenges with each subsequent request.

So yes, I look them up manually and after a while give it a rest for a few hours.

We used to have access to a fantastic research tool that took advantage of open ports in the DB, but the developers was politely asked to cease and desist.

BOO. I can't imagine it costs that much for them to maintain it. Just give folks API keys and limit queries by the hour like everyone else, sheesh.

I went in 16 hours from "no idea when it will ship" to "the dealer has it now". I just have to wait for them to get their ducks in a row/poop in a group/rhyme of your choice.
