I’ve made it clear to my “salesman” that if he offers me a BS deal on financing and my trade-in that I’ll either walk or just write a check for the whole thing.Shop around outside the dealership. That rate is high depending on your credit score. Dealers usually have a "Buy Rate" that they get from a lender and then they mark it up themselves. Always ask a dealer who does internal financing what the "Buy rate" on the loan is. If they don't tell you walk away. My credit union is doing rates in the low to mid 6's
