Shop around outside the dealership. That rate is high depending on your credit score. Dealers usually have a "Buy Rate" that they get from a lender and then they mark it up themselves. Always ask a dealer who does internal financing what the "Buy rate" on the loan is. If they don't tell you walk away. My credit union is doing rates in the low to mid 6's

I’ve made it clear to my “salesman” that if he offers me a BS deal on financing and my trade-in that I’ll either walk or just write a check for the whole thing.

Did you order during the promo Rate window? if not there is no promo rate, you can either get the promo rate or the up to 7500 cash incentive. if you do the math the cash incentive usually wins out.

Yea, apparently I ordered during some promo rate window. I recall hearing about 1.9% APR about the time I was ordering, but there doesn't seem to be any dealer cash incentive on the XLT. The higher trims had a $7500 cash incentive, but I think the XLT trims were only like $1500 "Ford Cash" or something like that. If I do get the 1.9% APR for 36 months, I prefer that over any $1500 Ford Cash I could get. Of course, I do plan on getting the Tax Credit in 6 months at tax time.

But of course, until I take delivery, It's hard to know what the final cost will be.

Hey all! Been lurking this thread for a while now, but am finally impatient enough to join/post.

2023 XLT SR with 312A Equipment package

Order date: 8/5/23
Order confirmed: 8/7/23
Build Scheduled: 9/11/23
Last Updated: 9/21/23

My dealership contact was able to confirm for me that it’s sitting in the Ramp 59 lot currently. This morning I got a notification from the FordPass app that my truck is connected and I can actually _see_ exactly where it is on their lot in Dearborn. Cool! But also frustrating that mine hasn’t made its way onto a train or convoy yet like many others on this thread.

I haven’t seen anyone else post that they can see where their truck is before it’s delivered. Is that unusual? Are there many others that are still in the “In Production” phase?

That Antimatter Blue is rad. It was my first choice but I chickened out knowing how insanely hot (and getting hotter) it is for about half the year here and how bad I am at keeping my vehicles clean. I tip my cap to you. It’s a beauty!

Thanks! I almost picked a shade of white for exactly that reason, but decided to take a chance on the color I really wanted anyways. Hopefully I don’t come to regret it!

Bought mine off Amazon from Amazon, they had a price lower than truck accessories websites, plus the free shipping was nice.
