My sales rep said Ford would not let them sell it due to an unspecified recall. It makes me wonder if Ford is trying to keep something from getting out.
Thanks. I definitely want the windows to defrost. I wish Ford would just communicate what's going on.They recently published this, whether it's affecting your and several other trucks is not certain, they show a date range of 7/27 to 8/30, so trucks for this build week shouldn't be affected, but who knows for certain.

Dealer got the pre-delivery e-mail this morning so the truck should be here sometime today.
Thanks Taxman. I did receive the following email from Ford today.Current situation with three of you still stuck in production.
Some minor scratches on the rear bumper, dealer will get an estimate from ABBA tomorrow. I told him I can drop it off whenever they can fix it.Congrat's 21 days and 900 miles later and it's about to be yours!
Received the exact same email today. I wonder if this is just a catch all template they use or if it is related to supply chain. Thanks Taxman. I did receive the following email from Ford today.
Thank you for being a valued Ford customer. We wanted to update you again on the status of your F-150 Lightning LARIAT order. While we initially predicted your vehicle build would begin week of September 11, 2023, the supply chain challenges we’ve been up against are still causing delays in production that are beyond our control.
We understand how frustrated you may be (we are too), and we apologize for any inconvenience. Rest assured, we are doing all we can to minimize the delays and get you on the road in your new vehicle as soon as possible.
Please continue to look out for updates from us. Once your vehicle is built, we will contact you again. In the meantime, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
