Blue cruise Not working since SW 6.13 update

Anyone have this issue other than myself?

I haven’t really tried to use BC until the last couple of days. Adaptive cruise control works but BC is unavailable and it tells me there “Driver Monitor Camera Fault”

I know this means a trip to the dealer but just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Looks like this is a known issue from Ford regarding BC being affected by 6.13 according to the Mach-E forums

I am having the same exact problem. On the other forum, Ford communicated that they are working on an OTA for the Mach-E issue. Hopefully @Ford Motor Company is aware that this issue is affecting BOTH Lightning and Mach-E. I will keep my fingers crossed they send out a fix soon.

I have been pretty lucky with getting most updates fairly quickly. I guess the downside is you end up being a beta tester for Ford. I can see why some people might consider turning off "auto-update."

Even better, being a second string tester, usually when the initial roll out goes sideways, they have stopped the distribution before it hits me, patiently waiting on the tweaked / improved version when they are ready. I suspect they will issue a cleanup update for those negatively affected first when it's ready to go out.

They are VERY aware of the impact to multiple product lines

They've had a crappy run lately, but I wonder if they are trying something new since a bunch of us just got a modified version of 4.2.1 for our first update. It was 4.2.1.1 so probably has some patch or something in there. If I was planning a big roll out to catch people up, this might be how I start it.

So I’m lucky and applied 6.13 without hitting this issue. But as of two weeks ago I do see another FDRS update to the CMR, so I suspect that is the fix. I wonder if any of you affected folks can try finding a FDRS friend to apply that update.

So looks like the Mach-E’s have a TSB on this issue. We won’t be getting an update until March if we are lucky….. Man WTF @Ford Motor Company and why doesn’t this TSB include Lightnings?

Do I understand this correctly: if one gets 6.13 - it breaks bluecruise, then the next update is a month away at best...

Exactly. I’m waiting on the update that bricks the Truck like Rivian smh… at least they prioritized an update

BlueCruise is key to get a buy back also - given the safety hazard - for those going that route - FMC needs better software specialists.
