Getting Accessory 12VDC to the rear bench

I searched and didn't find anything on this, so figured I'd ask.

I recently picked up a new 2023 Lightning XLT. We go skiing quite a bit and since the XLT doesn't have rear seat heaters for my kids, we have an aftermarket seat heater that they've used in previous cars that I'd like to put in. Ideally I wouldn't have the cord from the center console to the seats plugged in since I'm concerned my dogs will break it if it's plugged in while they are in the back.

Has anybody put an Accessory 12VDC plug either behind or underneath the rear bench?

That thought occurred to me as well. We have an electric blanket I've considered letting the kids use if we travel somewhere cold in the truck (haven't yet). Definitely need an easy way to turn stuff off as well as a responsible person to know when it's too hot. As long as the kids are old enough, I'd think we're ok here. Poor pups in that other post had no idea what was going on and no one trains there dog to let you know it's too hot. Crazy things happen, even the blankets have a warning not to use them when going to sleep.

This is my thought as well. Get a quality 12V adapter that plugs into 120V. (An example, unsure of quality):

Kids are 13 and 10, so they know how to use them (these ones also have timers on them). I’d prefer not to plug into the outlet in the back of the console since if the dogs are moving around back there, they may pull the cable to smash the plug.

Another convenient (albeit not cheap) solution would be to use a battery bank under the seat.

EDIT: Suggestion...something like a GoalZero Yeti300, which has a 12v outlet.

Just a thought, but does anyone make a 12 V "extension" cord?

I'm thinking that one that was 3-4' long could be used with a floor cord protector that should mitigate any dog movement issues. I'm assuming the theater's cord is not long enough to use the floor cord protector.

I ran 12v power from the battery, down the drivers side channel under the trim to under the rear seat for my radios. Grounded to the seat frame as radios should be grounded as close to the radio as possible. You could run a 12v power wire to the rear seat area and do a distribution block, or wire the heated seats directly.
