The deals and discounts were just too good to pass up. I traded in my Pro for an XLT ER. I don't "need" the Extended Range but for the price difference between my Pro and the XLT ER it just made sense.

For all those wondering this is what I got:

$7,500 Ford Rebate
$7,500 Tax Credit
$6,000 Dealer Discount
I also took one of the lower APR current financing deals.

I got $40k trade in value for my Pro.

do you mind sharing the difference in trade in vs cost?
It was about $12,000 difference. The XLT ER ended up costing me about $5k more than my original purchase price on the Pro (technically $12k more because the rebate is point of sale now).

Trade in was $40,000, I originally (Dec '22) paid roughly $47,000 for my Pro with all options. With the retail price of the Pro's being $10k higher than what I paid (price protection) I was hoping for a smidgen more, but I was satisfied with the whole deal.

Believe it or not. I miss the vinyl seats and the vinyl floor.

I will say the XLT seats sit lower than the Pro and changes the dynamic of the driving experience. I don't miss the manual seat adjustments, the drivers seat is way more comfy (and squeak free).

The biggest things I've noticed since I switched:

- I love the ACC (I bought the parts to install in my Pro but weather and time never cooperated).

- The heated leather steering wheel with physical button is very nice.

- The power tailgate is nice but not needed.

- Heated Seats get warmer than the Pro (that's not neccisarily a good thing).

- 20" rims are nice.

- Has fold flat work space.

- There is a closeable lid for the cubby above the glovebox.

I'm going to have to get another 2 day FDRS pass, this thing is WAY behind in updates. (No battery percentage on main cluster)

Say it ain't so! Benny the Pro enthusiast. I thought about it too but I want to be $0 vehicle payment by end of next year when I retire. $40K trade is a good number, i was expecting $35k ish.

I know I know. I still am a Pro enthusiast and would recommend it in a heartbeat! Just couldn't pass on the deal...

How many miles did you have on your pro?
Iā€™m considering the same same. My pro optioned out at about 55K before taxes. (MSRP)
Iā€™d like to future proof with the extended range battery. And would love to have adaptive cruise, as well as seats that werenā€™t so high.

Just under 15k miles (I had price protection so my base price was $40k before options).

I got it in 2022 when I bought the Pro. There is no eligible tax credit on used vehicles over a certain $$$ threshold (the used Pro wouldn't qualify).
