The Lightning has had several recalls, not just one. Some, like the wiper motor, are shared with ICE F-150s. The rear lightbar issue has zero to do with not having a drain hole, it has microcracks that let water in.

Anotehr recall was for select 2023s with battery pack issues. A very small number (18) were impacted. This was tied to the fire experienced at a storage area at the plant.

Another recall was for close to 3,000 for having a software issue regarding TPMS low pressure warnings, because the value was set wrong at the factory.

The wiper motor recall involved potentially every Lightning made up through August 16, 2022. At a minimum, the part needs to be inspected to see if it is affected.

I don't know if I missed any, but like any vehicle it's more than 1.
The drain hole is to let the water out so the lenses don’t crack.

All the others you stayed are only if you are notified so I hope you’re not in those vehicles.
My truck was taken in and they checked with the factory.
I am waiting for the new lenses for my truck and none of the other apply to me.
I got a good one, except when it had some slight damage while it was being unloaded.

I took a roadtrip to Chicago on 2/2/2024 with my F-150 Lightning. 7+ hours from home and two HVJBs died causing a catastrophic battery fault and left me stranded in a parking lot around midnight in the Chicago area. I am still waiting to get my truck back from being serviced. It is 2/13/2024.

Hello ,

Is your truck fixed ? around how long it took ?also did they give you loaner ?

kind of in a same situation.

It was down 14 days. The dealer didn’t have a loaner and Ford has not reimbursed me for the rental.

Are you still within your state’s lemon law period? Pursue that. Otherwise search the forum for the Ford BEV team phone number and see if they can help you.

Are you still within your state’s lemon law period? Pursue that. Otherwise search the forum for the Ford BEV team phone number and see if they can help you.
i believe so and asked the FORD Proactive Customer Dealer Advocate to start the buy back process , lets see when and what they respond . so far my primary contact is Proactive Customer Dealer Advocate, keeps me updated on the situation .

Following this thread. I seem to having an issue with the HJB also. Problem occurred my second day of owning the truck. They "fixed" it yesterday, salesman took it out to test on a DCFC and the fault immediately returned.
