Does anyone know if the ML3Z-1A189-E kit is complete with everything needed for TPMS (tire pressure sensors), the Rear Camera itself And Yaw Control ?
Thanks.

I just picked one up from the dealership. I’m trying to install it, but it’s not working. I got everything wired correctly, but it’s not recognizing the camera. I’m guessing it has something to do with there only being two wires on the plug
Did you have a trailer connected to the 7-pin harness as well? Reading some of the SD forums from previous years with the SD version of this kit they said it wouldn’t activate unless the truck saw a trailer connected as well. If not I wonder what combination of options you have to have to get more than 2 wires on that connector. Still trying to find one of these kits to try on mine but haven’t picked up the trailer yet, so nothing to plug in to try it yet.

I did. I tried again this morning after driving it. Still nothing. According to Ford, you need max tow OR 360 camera with the cab brake light camera. I have 360 so I’m not sure

There is a guy at my dealership that worked for Ford for 10 years as a product specialist on the F-150. He’s reaching out to some of his Ford contacts to try to figure it out. As soon as I get an answer back I will let you all know.

Ordered a fully loaded Platinum with the trailer camera option.

This is what came with mine.

if you look at the back of the 12 pin connector on your bumper, his many wires are going into the connector?

For completeness, this is the connector on a Platinum PB with Max Tow Package.

The truck came with the Yaw sensor kit.

Strange, do all of your cables only have two wires to the yaw sensor? Mine has 4,and I need help ?

I need help as I did a bone head thing when unhitching - I forgot to unplug my 7pin and yaw sensor plug and moved forward to get my ball out from under my tongue. Heard a "pop" as I pulled a few feet forward. Sure enough, the yaw sensor wires pulled out of the plug because it is locked, while the 7pin simply pulled out. The "pop" I heard was just the 7pin cover plate snapping back on.

Since I can't find the pinout online, I am begging for help here. I need to know for pins 2,3,4,5, what position do the 4 wires go in? The wires are purple/white, purple/brown, purple/green, and blue/white.

My other option is to go to a dealership and sneakily try to look at the cables in the backseat but I'm hoping a kind forum member can help me out. You will need a flat head screwdriver to pop open the cable sheath using the 2 tabs, it is super easy to snap back together!

To add to the strangeness of 2 vs 4 pin, I checked my part number and it's the same but mine fed 4 pins to the connector instead of 2.

Ford F-150 Lightning Yaw sensor AND trailer camera together? 20210329_124424

So just to verify, since I have the full set of tech (max tow + 360 cams) I checked the back of my plug:

Ford F-150 Lightning Yaw sensor AND trailer camera together? 20210329_135449

So even though my cable appears special and feeds in 4 wires, only the purple/brown and blue/white are connected in back. The other 2 float. I suppose I can take a 50/50 guess and hope it works or throws an error for me, but I'd love if someone can still verify the cable side pinout for me!

Ok team, I may have some bad news. Found the pinout. Take a look, we can read em and weep together:

Ford F-150 Lightning Yaw sensor AND trailer camera together? 1617052206565

My cable had pins 2,3,4,5 populated. Only pins 4-5 (violet/brown and white/blue) are for the yaw sensor. Pins 2-3 (violet/green and gray/violet) were just for diagnostics, likely TPMS or a debug bus. I feel special!! J/K

Now the bad news: Our trucks do not appear plumbed on the back side for either the diagnostics (TPMS?) pins 2-3, NOR the camera pins 8,9,10 (the video is obviously a differential high speed serial, thus an extra ground/shield wire is part of the interface). I don't care what kind of cable you connect to the connector, our trucks did not provide those connections on the back side.

Agree? What kind of nonsense is this to not do the simple plumbing so we can add a "customer added TPMS and reverse camera" in the future? Does anyone dare to unwrap the fabric insulation on the truck side wire harness?

Do you still need the pin out on the cable or are you good with the diagram? I can try to pop mine apart and take a look.
