This is an FYI. I did a little testing of the tailgate and if you have a carrier or anything that comes close to the back of your tailgate the tailgate comes down with a large amount of power and does not stop when restricted. I have a motorcycle carrier that comes out of my hitch. The bike gets pretty close to the tailgate and if you accidentally hit that tailgate button two times it has the power to either destroy the tailgate and destroy the bike. I was surprised when I attempted to restrict the tailgate to see if it stopped if it came in contact with something and it did not. This was a safety on Garage Doors at least the last 30 years. Surprised there isnāt some form of safety on the tailgate opening. I didnāt hurt my truck, but it became a thought. Damaged through tailgate by opening it too close to something
