We returned to the truck after our dinner (when I posted the prior reply), and the service icon was gone. Interesting.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences, it gave me confidence to continue our trip. As soon as it happened, I was working on the issue and asked my son to investigate the error. He found this thread and read it to me while I was driving. #grateful

The maintenance warning remains in my Ford Pass application.

Yeah, mine showed up too. As I remember, Ford looked into it and either never found anything or never got back to me, I can't remember. Either way, hasn't been an issue in the like 12k miles I've driven since.

Hey there. Can you please send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to look into your error message concerns on my end.
I just had this happen to me at the mall, turned on Park Assist, found stall, put in neutral, hold down P, right away failure take control of vehicle, put in Drive,
Service vehicle warning, one peddle drive malfunction, reduced power 64%.
Was able to manually reverse into parking stall but one peddle was very jumpy and sporadic had to go very slowly and keep break peddle at high alert, parked, put in P, service vehicle light still on, reduced power 64% still on, tuned off vehicle, turned back on, full availablepower back to 100% but service vehicle warning still on, tuned of vehicle went into Mall for an hour, came back turned on vehicle, all normal!
Driving for a day now after and no issues, checked Ford Pass App and no record of the failure event...

Had this happen to me last night as I left from work. Turned it off and back on, still the same "1 Pedal Drive Disabled, Service Soon, etc.."

Drove the 1 block to the Ford Dealer (yes, I realize that this could be a very convenient thing). Service department had already closed for the day, but talked to sales rep. Got the details on dropping off and went to move my truck to the service entrance. Started it up and now everything was fine. Drove home with no issue. Did show the Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power alert in the FordPass App.

I had this happen today, now for the second time in over three years of ownership. At 88% state of charge.
Driving in city slow traffic with ACC and OPD on when the fault starts, adaptive cruise disabled, OPD disabled, reduced power, and wrench symbol illuminates. I was at the stoplight on a highway onramp, and when I hit the go pedal the truck crawled forward (same as last time, but then on an uphill! So slow). I limped to the shoulder with hazards on, and shut down the vehicle. On re-start the wrench was still illuminated but power was back to 100% and I was able to merge onto the highway and made my way home with no further issue.
Have not re-started the truck again to see if the wrench is gone. Will do so again in the morning. Did receive an alert in the FP app, but no codes on the alert. Will check my OBD reader tomorrow and see if there are any obvious codes.
Have been trying to get my truck into the shop for some recall service, and my 3-year service but their service department is not returning calls, just texting, and when they texted me a reply I replied to it and they have not replied again in over a week. What ever happened to speaking with your customers? Give me a person on the phone!

My problem ended up being corrected by some module updates that they did. They kept it a day or so to verify it didn't return. Never had an issue with that since.

Hopefully I can get in with the dealer soon. Their service department has left me wanting.

The wrench icon is gone this morning, and all seems to be working well. Now I just need to find my OBD dongle and see if there is a code.
