Heated Steering temperature adjustable?

I know my dealer only retrofit heated steering wheels only in summer

But after it was installed last week, I found it's not warm enough

Is there something to adjust via forscan? Or am I having a bad steering wheel?

somethings not right. Mine gets very warm very fast.

There are noticable stages of heat though. It's toasty when turning it on, but it fades to a lower heat setting after a period of time. Not sure what the time length is, maybe 10-15 min?

Yes you can adjust it in Forscan. I jacked mine up to the max. I can’t remember where, but once you load it up you should be able to look around the modules and find the steering wheel temp adjustment setting. I believe you can also control the length of the heat but I did it 2 winters ago so my memory is a bit hazy on that!

The wheel itself comes from the factory ready to go, the retrofit is just the control module.

It's thermostat controlled, so it may be that winter is the best time to test and see how it will do. It won't fee very warm with warm hands, but might feel quite nice to cold hands.
