F-150 Lightning Forum iOS APP​

We're happy to announce the F-150 Lightning Forum App for iOS is now available on the Apple App store!

What is it?

You'll notice that the app is virtually identical to the mobile version of the site, and that's basically what it is. It's our mobile site, but with the added functionality of the menu bar shortcut tools and most importantly - push notifications, so you'll now be able to receive alerts on your phone! We decided against a clean-sheet app design because of the many forum/site functions that would be lost with that approach. This way, the app appears and behaves in the same familiar (and full-fledged) way that you're already used to.


Push notification alerts

The biggest benefit of the app is push alerts to your phone. You can set your app push alert event settings in your account's preferences menu (under the "Receive a notification when someone…" section).

How to navigate back and forward to previous screen?

Quick swipe right or left to go back / forward to the previous screen. Or press the left arrow in the bottom tool bar to go back.


Widget

After the app is installed, you can also create a widget for your home screen. The widget can display either the latest threads or latest posts (based on your choice).


Where is the Android version?

It's coming! We have a working test beta and are working to finalize and release the final public version ASAP.

The app seems great! only thing is I cant find a way to change the text size like I could in safari or on a desktop computer - am I missing something?

My eyes arent what they used to be sadly.
