Does the the new Q4 need the extension you made, sorry if i overlooked it. I have a 2022 xlt with lane keep but not ACC but i have forscan. Thanks in Advance
You do still need the extension. I don’t really have any time until May to do one, but there is a guy on discord who said he was interested. I’ll ask him what he charges.

have you already ordered your ACC parts?

Also comma has been shipping a lot of the v1 harnesses lately, so I guess no one needs to buy extension components until they get the harness and see if it’s a v1 or v2
yes they will be here around January 17, dnd if you could ask i’d appreciate it.

I’ve got the components for the v1 and v2 harness if anyone needs them. Including the back ordered pins (whatever’s left of the 100 I ordered after butchering a bunch trying to crimp them 😆).

I'm going to order the unit. Can anyone sell me a harness so I don't get the errors? Also, has anyone been able to get Navigate on Openpilot to work?

Comma killed navigation because it was so terrible. Allegedly to make a return in 2025 after the rewrite it.

Not sure where to ask, but if anyone is making extensions to the Q4 harness, I will be glad to pay any fee + shipping to have one made for my 22 Lightning Lariat. Love the device and don’t have a lot of spare time to order and make the proper connections for all the errors and blind spot sensor failure (due to the harness obv).

I’ll prolly get around to it sometime later this year if not, just thought I would check :)

*it’s the updated harness with USB-C

I second this, just got my comma device (initially only intending it for road trips in wifes escalade but it works great in the lightning). it adds what seems like bluecruise to backroads and works well (although it does seem to hug a bit to the drivers side...not sure if there is a way to fix that) but I do get errors until it starts up that go away.

You'd probably want to use the BluePilot fork as the standard OpenPilot or SunnyPilot you use with the Escalade won't work as well with the Lightning and you will see things like hugging corners or ping ponging. BluePilot also allows you to fine tune all those parameters.

Thanks,
I am using bluepilot, staging 2.1

still waiting on Escalade l&p harness

reading up on it I may try switching from North Dakota to FarmVille or blue diamond 2 as others online report success with those

If you are using BluePilot then you can adjust the Ford parameters in the settings on the device and that should help with hugging shoulders, ping ponging, and holding lanes during turns. Play with it on your next, relaxing, highway drive.
