Has anyone else noticed this issue?

The rotary light switch is set to "Auto", and "Daytime Running Lights" are enabled when I check the Vehicle Settings on the center display...

But nuthin'!

I just noticed it today, during a fairly significant snowfall in daylight - so there is a fair bit of reflected ambient light around - does anyone know if the Daytime Running LIghts shut off if the truck thinks it's "too bright" outside?

Canadian with mandatory drl here. The lights come on in auto mode when I put it in drive. Just checked with my phone recording the lights.

Aww, nuts - I wonder if it shuts off when it's in Park? If so, that must be the issue...

Edited to add:

Yup, never mind. I didnt realize it had to be in "Drive".

I will now quietly slink away....

Am I understanding that you at least have the option to disabling DRLs? If so, THANK your favorite diety! I am firmly opposed to DRLs because one of the results of DRLs and electronic display dashboards is a massive number of cars driving at night with nothing but the DRLs. This time of year my commute both directions is in the dark and I can't drive more than a mile or two without seeing one of these "ghost" cars.

DRLs are a great safety feature, but they should have been paired with one of two things at a minimum: 1) auto headlights that can only be turned off in park mode, and 2) DRLs that turn off when it’s dark.
