Thatās what I was thinking also when I watched a video a week ago where someone was testing the GT and he said that he was blown away at the size of the front brake rotors being 19 inches.I'd think the brakes would be commensurate with the weight and towing capabilities of the truck. The Lightning is about 700 pounds heavier than the PowerBoost, though it has a lower towing rating (10,000 vs. 13,000 pounds).
I think you are referring to the 19" wheel diameter, not the brake diameter. The brake rotors on the MachE GT are 385mm which is a little more than 15". The biggest brakes on an F150 right now (with max towing package) are 350mm. I think they will likely keep that diameter on the Lightning.

I donāt know how to attach the video but you can go to YouTube and type in Mach E GT ridealong EXCLUSIVE with Dave Pericak
Itās a video from the Roadshow Youtube channel and heās talking about the rotors starting around the 2:00 minute mark.
This is the video where he talks about "19 inch discs" however there's no way you can fit a 19" rotor under a 20" wheel:Thatās what I was thinking also when I watched a video a week ago where someone was testing the GT and he said that he was blown away at the size of the front brake rotors being 19 inches.
I donāt know if heās right or wrong but that would be impressive.
I can send you that Youtube video info if you like.

Hard to read but on that Platinum, guessing here but maybe 255/50/22? A 32? I wonder how much lift you'd need to clear 35s... sorry that's the Jeep owner talking. ?
And planning.![]()
I guess weāll just have to wait and see what is what. This is the video where he talks about "19 inch discs" however there's no way you can fit a 19" rotor under a 20" wheel:
This page references the rotors on the MachE GT Performance being 385mm: https://www.aftermarketnews.com/brembo-brakes-featured-on-mustang-mach-e-gt-gt-performance-edition/
The Lamborghini Urus has the largest brake rotors on a production car, at least at the time of this article. They're "only" 440mm which is 17.3": https://drivetribe.com/p/lamborghin...Wya2Q965ZkEyHD7LUA?iid=OuWY_cxKRqu0FEqTpqVmog
