Noticing something from the new dealer vids/pics showing up online recently. It's starting to look like the front bumper proximity sensors are only on XLT/Lariat/KR with BOTH CoPilot Assist AND 360 cam package.

So you might need to have the cameras before you can have front bumper sensors? How would that ever make sense? To me I don't NEED both, but really would want at least one or the other.
I think they are standard on the KR and up. Saw it on the list of standard equipment if I remember correctly.

This is the photo they show with my build and it is a 601A option.

Well, i want either the front parking aid or front camera, so i just emailed my salesman to see if he can add the 360 degree camera package. So i will have at least one of these, lol. Will be nice to have anyway.

They don't appear to be on this KR, and it does have the 360 cam package. So i really don't know. Seems so random. I have no idea why this wouldn't be a standard feature by now.

I beleive it comes with the 601A King Ranch. That is standard KR because it did not have the deployable running boards and the 601A does.

That link led me to a video of a red KR with the chrome package, which means it has to be a 601A, because you cannot get the chrome package on the 600A. Maybe you have to get the Co-Pilot360 Active2.0 Prep Package to get the front sensors? I'm shocked they're not standard.

In the test drive event, I drove an XLT with the 360 camera system. It had the front parking sensors and the 360 camera came on when you were close to an object. I specifically tested this feature.

But the 601A comes with the power running boards. That one in the video had fixed.

I know if you get the mono color you have to get the chrome pkg.

Who knows, I'm confused now.

I think it had the electronic deploying running boards. The driver's side board was down/deployed, and the passenger side was up/stowed.

Think i may have figured out some of this, but it's really messed up. WTF Ford?

XLT - requires CoPilot360 Assist AND 360 camera package to get front sensors

Lariat 501A - requires CoPilot Assist AND 360 camera package to get front sensors
New 2021 Ford F-150 Lariat for sale T34324 Plainfield IN | Andy Mohr Ford

Lariat 502A - requires CoPilot ACTIVE (and 360 cam) to get front sensors (even though copilot Assist is standard).
New 2021 Ford F-150 LARIAT (erinwoodford.com)

Here is a Lariat 502A with CoPilot Assist (not Active) and 360 cam, no front sensors.

KR - I believe also needs CoPilot ACTIVE (and 360 cam) to get front sensors.

What is CoPilot Active??

These are the only choices listed for the KR under the Co-Pilot360 part.
Packages

  • Class IV Trailer Hitch
  • Ford Co-Pilot360™ 2.0
  • Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist 2.0
I visited my dealer today. There is a new order guide that came out 11/1/20. We did a search In the order guide and there is a note that says rain-sensing wipers and forward sensing system is included with Co-Pilot Assist on 500A & 501A. There is no mention of Forward Sensing on Lariat 502A. My dealer is checking with Ford. Hope to have more info soon. Personally, I think us Lariat 502A people are screwed. There are no mentions of Forward Sensing on higher trims, but I know we see them on King Ranch, Platinum, & Limited. Maybe Ford dropped the ball on the Lariat 502A..

Yes i could be off on the King Ranch for sure, I'm going Lariat so thats what i've mostly been digging into. Plus appears to be very few King Ranch's at dealers at the moment, not finding any live listings with actual pics.

I see them on lariats. I think it’s just part of the copilot 360 package TBH. Anything proving that wrong?

Check my post and links from 5 posts up, you can check the pics and window stickers to confirm. It's not near as straightforward as you'd think it would be.

Interesting... I’m not 100% sold that the grey one does have sensors. The picture is garbage. We just need to map the sensors to their function and the packages... could even be a production mistake at this stage of the game.
