Here's my truck. 126,500 miles, bought in 2009. A 2006 F-150 XLT 5.4L.
Will be replaced by a Lightning Pro about 2024.

Still “brand new” with only 6K on the ODO. Was supposed to be a stop gap truck till the Lightning came in. Getting some $$$ back from this trade in too. Wife currently has a Chevy Bolt.

I don’t have the tow package. So it’s lacking there, the bed is a bit too small for my needs as well, but it’s gotten the job done.

The base seats are also terrible, hard plastic feeling, generally all around the interior is hard plastic. The quality just isn’t there.

I upgraded from the standard battery to an extended range battery. I can drive non-stop approximately 2-3 hours before needing a charge. But that’s irrelevant because I have battery swapping technology.

As expected, the electronics aren’t the best. The radio stopped working years ago. I never could figure out the AC. And don’t get me started on the headlights.

Fords, am I right? But despite that, she’s been dead reliable. No oil changes. Never had the brakes changed. Did go through a set of tires pretty quickly though.

The motors have been reliable but the dual motor setup has gotten me stuck before, even with the front and rear locked.

Anyways, just sold her last week to make room for the F-150L Pro.

Son is super pissed. But he’ll understand in 12 years when I give him the Pro.

The '14 F-150 will be going to a new home when the Lighting gets here. Then we'll be waiting for an electric SUV with a 3rd row and comparable cargo room to the Pilot to come out.

My dealer let me take the ER Lariat mannequin home to play with for a weekend. I’m first in line to buy it in Dec. The Ioniq5 will likely have to go as my wife is attached to her Mach-e. The ’94 BMW I bought new, it is in the shop being rebuilt with 250K on the clock and I could not be without a bike for the summer so I just bought the Zero.
