Beautiful truck!Howdy Y'all! (no we don't actually talk like that) haha
Like many of you, I reserved my Lightning the moment the show started, and I was fortunate enough be given the opportunity by FoMoCo to pay over $100K CAD for a truck! (what a time to be alive)
Mods were planned and ordered well in advance of the truck, so without further ado, here's my journey so far!
Fresh off the boat
Front plate drilled in (after I requested it wasn't smh)
Line-X (thanks Marcus from Line-X Mississauga for squeezing me in the same day I picked up the truck!)
Rydonair 7" Antenna
WaetherTech Floor Liner HP (Part Number: 44697-1-6IM)
Centre Console Organizer
BAK Revolver X4s - 80339 (Clips are as horrible as everyone says they are. 1 came broken out of the box!)
Nice just saw where u where located I'm actually in Mississauga now for work first time here. Small world. Thanks for the infoI've only ever had it done on my other car about a year ago, and it's still pretty much perfect. I highly recommend it for cars at this price point, because it's more of an insurance on the paint.
During the winter I just wash it down with water, but will occasionally use a foam gun if the weather's warm enough. If not, you can go through a touchless car wash without worrying too much.
You can absolutely put all the badges back on, but I like a cleaner look, so as of now the plan is to leave it all off.
How long are you in town for? I'm a little north of the city, but if you're interested, we could always meet up at the shop as it's on Mississauga!Nice just saw where u where located I'm actually in Mississauga now for work first time here. Small world. Thanks for the info

If your schedule opens up, I can share the contact info of the shop and you can meet the owner. He loves this stuff, and would be happy to show you the truck and some of the nuisances of PPF. it's one of the main reasons I decided to go to him.Flying out tomorrow am but thanks for the invite!
Thanks!Beautiful truck!
where did you get the console organizer?
Sorry I missed this!Is there a way to fix the broken clip? Can they ship you a new one?
Just to double check, you pulled the Fox shocks back off and are running the OEM suspension with the readylift spacers?I really didn't want to go with a low profile wider tire, as I was trying to minimize the rolling resistance. So I decided to go back to the front OEM suspension and add a lift.
ReadyLift 2" Leveling Kit (66-2120) installed
Vossen's wrapped in 285/65/20 BFG KO2
A big thanks to Brent and his team at Factory Tire in Etobicoke. They let me test fit the tires, and were ready to take them back if they didn't fit!
If anyone's wondering, this setup clears the crash bar without any issue, and only a slight rub at full lock on the rear liner. Boaty feeling is back, but a small price to pay to make these rims & tires fit!
This is correct!Just to double check, you pulled the Fox shocks back off and are running the OEM suspension with the readylift spacers?
Any idea if you can run the Fox socks with the readylift kit for the best of both worlds??
Well shit. There goes that plan. This is correct!
The shop said they couldn't get them to line up and work with each other, which is very unfortunate as that was initially my plan.
Based on initial research, the Fox shocks were supposed to raise the front 2 inches, but I'm thinking the weight of the Lightning didn't allow that to happen. They are adjustable, but I didn't want to mess around with them, as it comes with the ideal preload setting from Fox out of the box.Thior, I didn't fully grasp why you took off the fox and went to spacers. Did the fox shocks cause you to use an offset and tire size you didn't want to use? I want to get the fox shocks but want to know what's better? I'll probably go for a normal lifted truck with 33 to 34 ish all terrain tires on a 18 or 20 inch wheel.
