…because it’s much worse now! Some guy wasn’t paying attention and backed his super duty into me today.

I’m beyond upset right now. Ignore the mud, I drive on a lot of messy gravel roads this time of year.

Yikes... How old was that Superduty. No backup sensors or cameras. and if not, he should be paying even more attention. How in the world don't you see a full size pickup truck behind you. Lucky it wasn't a little kid on a bike.

That's not going to be cheap. I heard the headlight system is insanely priced. Although not sure if that light bar that wraps around it is part of it or separate. Hopefully he didn't push in your wheel to hard either.

That is so frustrating. Thankfully everyone is ok and body damage can be fixed. I was in an accident less than 100 miles of taking delivery of mine. Idiot doing 120+ on the Interstate, weaving in and out of traffic cut off a car who slammed on their brakes, spun out and hit me.

After the repair, you can't even tell it ever happened.

Mine initially was $6000 as well but once they got it up on a lift and looked behind the bumper, etc., price balloon $23,000
And as you can tell by looking at, it is hardly any damage at all

All the damage was behind the bumper sensors and such

That was exactly my first thought.

At least it wasn't the side with the charge port. Seems like that side would be significantly more work.

I hit an 80 pound deer at 45 mph with our Mach E and $6,000.00 later it was repaired. From 10’ away you could barely tell but cracked a few plastic parts, broke a headlight, bent the hood, side shifted hood, fenders to the drivers side. I’d guess your $18K-$24K just by “looks”. Yikes.

At least you are ok and did not get hit by a ladder truck (that big thing with the huge ladder on top) like I did while legally parked in a fire station parking lot.

Given what @Fyatrk said, I wonder how much hidden damage there is. Perhaps @Fyatrk can elaborate.

It’s being torn town and parts have been ordered. Initial cost is $7200. Let’s see if it stays that low once they get further into it when parts arrive.
