No need, just grab the registration from the glove compartment.Just tell me where you camp or hike!
oh yeah, I guess I need your house address too… so I can get the other $10 million with your house key!

The safest place for that 10 million is the stock market! No need, just grab the registration from the glove compartment.![]()
No f'in way, it's actually LOCKable... I thought that just meant that the plastic sides 'locked' up or folded, I had no idea it actually locked with a key! That little, lockable storage under the back seat is pretty cool.
Very welcome! No f'in way, it's actually LOCKable... I thought that just meant that the plastic sides 'locked' up or folded, I had no idea it actually locked with a key!
Here's a vid I watched to understand this:
Thanks Jodokk for bringing this to my attention, that makes it a MUCH more useable space to stash my millions!

I also have a console safe. I keep it locked. I have a spare programmed key fob stored in a faraday bag in it and a “personal protection device“ in the safe.I use a center console safe! Nothing is 100% secure but I leave my wallet and phone (ford app turned off) in there all the time when going for a run. Use the door key pad to lock and get back in.
Did you have your phone and PAAK?Not sure if anyone answered the question yet, but on my 23 XLT yes the inside frunk button works with the door locked (window open) and no fob nearby.
Thanks, potato, I hadn't gotten to trying it yet but appreciate you testing it.Not sure if anyone answered the question yet, but on my 23 XLT yes the inside frunk button works with the door locked (window open) and no fob nearby.
I agree, and said the same as the 'BTW' at the end of the original post. That said, it does seem exceedingly silly to allow someone without a key access to otherwise secured areas of the vehicle...Frunk would be the safest place....because 99.99% of folks smashing your window will have no clue it's an electric truck with a frunk...then when they see you come back to the smashed window...quickly pop the frunk to make sure your stash is still there...they'll pass out with surprise that your truck has no motor...
XLT. So no PAAK. I verified the door lock/unlock touch sensors didn't work so I believe the fob was far enough away.Did you have your phone and PAAK?
