Have been meaning to get my hands back up in the dash and take out the harness to get it out to @Ajzride after messaging him on Discord. Weather hasn't exactly cooperated until today.
Is it the chime that pops up during Android Auto operating or is it just when paired via Bluetooth? If just bluetooth, while connected to the truck open up the MY SYNC option on your phones bluetooth menu and deselect the "Text Messages" slider.
Around the time the current deal came about, I was trying to find my trucks twin but with an ER or even stepping up to a Lariat. The trade number puts a stop to it unfortunately, but in addition to that it seems most of the trucks dealers have don't have the tow tech/max tow on the window sticker.
...I've been out of the loop for far too long. Automatically coming on when it's cold? Sign me up.
It'll also fix the issue where I never added the ACC distance button when I did those installs. Gonna have to do some searching on here.
Yeah I have the same faults that 'hi im issac' mentioned; but it's only when the comma has to fully boot up from a power off state. I just remote start it and by the time I get in the truck it's ready to go and no chimes.
Otherwise it's been great.
I've got just shy of 5,000 miles of using my Comma 3X unit in my Lightning.
Was part of the reason I went through with doing the ACC/Lane Centering retrofit.
My Pixel 7 Pro has been doing it recently out of nowhere, and going over one of the bridges into NJ will shut it off at the exact same place every time.
Never had the issue previously.
I've been window shopping, but likely only going to get $35-$38k for trade in, I've got 23000 on mine though.
At that trade in I'd rather keep the truck for the $30k loss instead of rolling in some neg equity onto a new one.
You're welcome! Apologies for not realizing copying the address from Plugshare..didn't paste the link to the plugshare location itself.
I've got the NACS adapter coming at some point in April, but from what I see it may not be necessary to utilize the Tesla units along the way but I may give...
My family has a place in the center of the state, so I charged off of the oven outlet when there.
As for the trip up, surprisingly it was good; initial stop was at an EA in Stratford CT (https://www.google.com/maps/dir//411%20Barnum%20Avenue%20Cutoff,%20Stratford,%20CT,%2006614)
Then the first...
I went from Delaware to central Maine with a few trips to the Maine coast, and back home to DE last August/September and will be doing it again this summer. I forget the total, 1500 miles or something? Had a couple derated chargers and one stop not working, but I gave myself a super conservative...
Shit I'd go swap out mine for an extended range or Lariat twin if they'd just throw some "please for the love of god buy this truck" level incentives at it.
...and if trade in values weren't as bad as they currently are.
I opted not to get the tailgate step/work surface based on the fragility of the parts I've seen; this definitely would have me scared outside of warranty lol.
Absolutely cannot stand creaking. Haven't heard any yet from mine except for where my left knee occasionally rests on the door panel trim piece.
I did notice when doing my speaker installs that the tweeters in the A-Pillar seemed odd. One side had foam surround and the other didn't.
