My first check would be the fuses. #23, #28, #29 in the frunk fuse panel. While the brakes are hydraulic, they are electrically applied and if the fuses blow, the park brake applies.
I had this happen yesterday. In the process of trying to figure out what happened, I noticed that Fordpass was running in the background. I forced the background instance of Fordpass to close and everything started working again. I use a Samsung S24+
If you are truly in the position of this is a deal breaker, I would tell the dealer that you will not proceed if they cant make good on the PCO. Be ready to either walk away or pull the trigger based on the dealers response.
Another thing is to make sure the PCO is applied before all fees and...
I leased. You do not get the IRS rebate but all other rebates and bonus offers do apply roughly the same as if you buy. I purchased as a business vehicle so I can expense the lease payments. The other factor in my decision was this is a first gen technology and if I do not like it or it...
My lightning arrived at the dealer today and they immediatly PDI'd it. While they were doing the PDI, I had them check this connector and it was also turned into the adjacent hose. The mechanic adjusted it while doing the PDI. Thank you for bringing this issue up!
I am hoping "quality hold" means ford put the extra mile into my truck. Mine was built Sept 23 and put on "quality hold" until Feb 7, 2024 and is currently sitting in a rail yard in Minnesota. Have your dealer keep an eye on it and if they lose tracking capability on it, start calling customer...
In South Dakota, the annual EV fee is $50. Our Fuel tax is $.42. Average fuel economy here is 21mpg.
That means for my average usage of 20,000 miles per year, the fuel tax is about $400. I will happily pay $50.
The site 5 miles out is still not have internet but I can use cellular there. If the chargers will operate dumb, I can bring the charger there to update over my cell laptop.
I have the same question about the need for internet access. I plan to install 2 CSPs. One will be 5 miles in the country and the other will be 20 miles in the country without IP access. Yes I live in South Dakota. To bring internet to the one 20 miles out will cost in excess of $100,000...
Status update. Back in Rouge. Still in production. In transit flag has been unchecked.
Talked to CSR today and got a case number and a promise of escalation out of them.
checked with customer service again today. The new status is in production and in transit. I was also told the clear to ship has not been checked and they were unable to give me a last known location.
Online tracking still shows my truck is still IP. However, I Called the customer service hotline and they say it has shipped with an estimated arrival date of 1/22/2024. Don't think I'll hold my breath yet. Dealer says it's last known location was Allen Park ILL.
Excuse me. Allen Park MI.
I am still waiting on mine. Ford says it is IP. All modules have been installed. Tear tag assigned. Had 38 miles on it as of 9/19/23. Still in production.
Wish Ford would tell me what's going on.
