I agree, I want to warning if my hands are off, I just don't like having to jiggle my steering wheel ever what ever number of seconds it is. Sure does a great job keeping it centered, better than myself usually. Lol
Some one could have a wreck and try to sue Ford saying it was their fault for the truck was steering itself. People don't want responsibility for their stupid actions and want to blame it on someone else.
Yeah probably so, it actually works really well, even on curves as long as the road has painted lines.
I doubt there is a way it would let you bypass the warning and eventual shut off of the lane assist, I'm sure there is a legal requirement of some sort.
I too have dealt with this, I saw where you can turn off some alert notifications but can you specify just this one. I noticed that if you don't do something soon it will turn off the drive assist.
Have you got yours to work without turning off?
I would use it more if I didn't have to keep...
Mine was done by LineX also and he told me they removed the that piece to paint just behind it. Bolts are long enough. They don't do the bed bolts so the the bit will still fit the screws if you have to remove the truck bed. I am thinking of painting mine black with a rubber type paint though.
Yes, you can but you have to hit it every time you start the truck. I thought whats the big deal but I always seem to forget, till I stop for the first time.
I had this same system on my 2018 and it worked flawlessly.
It is made to hold your last setting where you don't have to hit the off button but one time. If you want it back on you just hit the button again, so the function is still there. You just don't have to turn it off every time you...
Good job! I actually never had any issues with the card on my 2018 but I only used it a couple of times. I'm use to just using the tow mirrors and with the larger screen and extra camera, it should even be easier.
No, I don't but I would suspicious that the will.
I'm not a fan of those for I would rather just have a small clear bra on the first 20% of the hood.
I haven't done mine yet but looking for a pre-cut one where I can do it my self. I may just order some 3m and see if I can do my own pre-cut...
Dang, you taking a big jump in room! Give yourself time to adjust to the size difference.

Well those days will soon be over for you too!
I just measured and the front is 2 and 1/2 inches taller. I measure the spacer and it is 1 and 1/4 inches. So it would cut the difference in half anyway. I may put some weight in the bed and lower it that much and take a step back to look at it.
I hear ya, sounds like a cool setup, I just got my medicare card and almost cried. Don't know where time has gone but it is sure moving fast. My mind thinks I'm still a young man sometimes and my body has to give it a stark reminder.
