My delivery estimate is today thru the 2nd. It's the only estimate ive ever had so far. The train car was unloaded on the 23rd or the 26th (2 stops to unload) so seems like a reasonable estimate to me.
I'm still waiting for the dealer. I'm assuming they didn't really contact anybody and don't really give two shits until I refuse to pay them the extra $5k after the truck shows up. Then they will suddenly be able to contact Ford and get some answers.
I know it's been said a thousand times, but...
Thanks I'll take a look. I've already emailed them back with a copy of all 3 of the dealer communications that mention the PCO and the price increase and pointed out the parts that contradict what they said. I also included a screenshot of the price I see on ford.com and a link to Tim Bartz...
I finally got an ETA from Ford today - 12/27-1/2. My hope is growing! I'm definitely going to be checking ford.com and Union Pacifc's system every day to see if it slips.
The blue they took away was 1st choice and that was a close 2nd. So, I ordered my 3rd choice. Ford had really terrible color choices for the Lightning though. It was basically red, blue/gray, or a beige or black.
Got my shipped email today - 2 days after it was loaded into train car. However, Ford now gives me an ETA! Ford says 12/27-1/2. Railcar is supposed to arrive on 12/23. Of course this has me hopeful for delivery before the end of the year.
Yesterday, I sent my dealer an email regarding pricing...
This is what mine looks like. However, Ford chat was able to give me a rail car # even though they said it was on chip hold. Then you can track the rail car. I'm assuming/hoping the chip hold status is old news and the rail car # is correct.
So, I'm now in this club. I've been counting on 2023 delivery, but today I got my railroad car number and Union Pacifc says it's scheduled to be unloaded on the 26th. So, I now have a little hope of getting it before the end of the year.
And people have been having a hard time getting the dealers to apply the price protection for the pro when it was $5k. At $11k, these dealers are gonna be an even bigger PITA. Yay...
I did a trace with Union Pacific on my rail car number and found out it was loaded last night around 8:30 PM and scheduled to arrive at it's destination (wherever that is) on 12/26. So, now I'm keeping hope alive I can take possession by EOY!
