Check if there is electric ran to an awning or outlets on light poles. Heck, if you don’t mind explaining/defending it. But I’m on the side of charging to 95-100% for these trips and leaving it on for a 30-45min game, but not more.
I had a power train warning and charge reduction. My local ford dealership is not yet EV certified but the next county over did.
Has anyone else had to get cells replaced? How many and what was the timeframe you faced?
I’m lucky that the dealership had a loaner. But man, I forgot about gas and...
I try to try any new ones that I can. When I got the truck I think I looked through most routes from west Tennessee to south Louisiana (family) and downloaded every app of 50+kW station to get ready. You’re right it’s interesting to us but the wife does not find it nearly as exciting especially...
I installed the pro myself with the help of a Tesla buddy and advice of an electrician, spent about 500-600 in cable and breakers. Would have been easier and cheaper but previous homeowner wired light duty wiring to the garage. Pro charger came with the 23 ER lariat.
What going on yall. Later this month Im making my first multi charge trip. From Union City, TN (northeastern corner of the state) to Atlanta, GA. Any recommendations for chargers in the ATL area? I’ll be going to Dunwoody (work) and then near the midtown (play) areas. I have my typhoon NACS to...
The ABRP and PlugShare app allow you to filter the “open to non- Tesla” stations. Rule of thumb I’ve noticed. Most 250kW stations are open. Non of the 150kW’s are open to non-Teslas
Yeah, I’m about to uses this as the rough draft for mine. NW Tennesse sounds the same climate wise.
Did you do your whole windshield? I’ve seen a couple ICE’s with tenting on the entire window.
I would be okay with my city buying XLTs but would prefer then to get pros. Yet again my little town about imploded when they put in 12 Tesla super chargers outside the local grocery store. They damn near doxed every “Biden mobile” owner.
I just now pulled the trigger on the A2Z. I have a Tesla SC in town, which is surprising for West Tennessee. But leaving my home charger diameter and traveling the state/ family, out of state, has been on hold due to less than reliable station along the way.
I have charged my Lightning at a few Chargers in the 4 months I’ve owned it, mostly to try different brands and speeds. I have noticed that I’ll get a charge fault error code when I use ChargePoint. It will charge as normal but after the code, it’s business as usual.
Has anyone experienced this...
