Has anyone looked into if the road tires (non A/T) on the truck are readably available for purchase? Where they made specific for the truck or are the off the shelf tires?
Also are there any better choices out there to go the other way, to be more efficient?
22.5ft Long
Just under 11ft tall counting the A/C
8ft Wide
max weight loaded is 6800 but I most likely run it around 6000-6200.
Tongue Weight is around 680lbs
Based on Air stream's comparing tool - with the lower height and less width - you should see a pretty good increase there. Of course you were asking for specifics.. watching this thread to see if anyone posts as well...
I brought this one along:

So I could adjust (unlike the ford one) -- altho I believe the Ford one would have worked just fine in this case. Also I saw a post out there today about the charger(s) not...
I had this same issue in Mt. Vernon, IL's charge stations and Sullivan, MO's charge station. Starts and then limits to like 36kW. I reported both but judging by plugshare I don't think either have been addressed.
No, didn't try but I should have. Our pedestal had a 30 amp plug (our camper is only 30 amp) and a 50 amp plug. Kept the charger on the 50 amp plug set to 32 amp pull; they both ran fine off the 1 pedestal.
Great efficiency - can I assume sub 60mph speeds?
We went this weekend as well and averaged .8-.9 on the way there and .7-.8 on the way back fighting a 10-15 MPH headwind. Cruise controlled at 65mph both ways.
90 miles 1 way. On the way there truck said I had 30 miles left, on the way back it...
I did end up going with the Peragon. You're right but that is only at the very front of the bed and you lose like 8ish inches of height for about 1-2 feet. I can get exact measurements but that's the only space you "lose" - but the rest of the bed you have full height up to the top of the unit...
160bux a month for a 2021 Mach-E XR-Prem. and the Lariat Lightning and a 22 travel trailer. Overall my payment when down 1 dollar (lol) a month when I traded in my 21 ICE Lariat for the Lightning.
Thanks for taking the time to report back. Glad to hear, despite it taking forever, it wasn't a super serious issue. Hopefully they share their knowledge out to the rest of the ford techs / upload to some kind of knowledge base.
Tesla noob here - are there any concerns with this being a 48amp unit not working with all tesla destination chargers? Are there dest. chargers that go above 48amp that this would be dangerous to use with?
Would the truck be smart enough not to pull above 48 - I guess that should be my...
Got this as well but haven't noticed anything.
Mine made some pretty "different" sounds as it was updating. In particular it made a modulating sound that appeared to come out from the back of the truck but not sure what is really back there but the back-up speaker that could have done that...
If Tesla can use a EA station.. it should work both ways you would think. Even tho adaptors don't exist yet (?) to go CCS > Tesla, it should be possible? Adaptors indeed please.
As far as deployment - maybe do it like the bank does trying to keep people from stealing pens. Leave them dangling...
