I agree with you @Firn and @Cvh8601 , the glare free light are not necessarily a "set it and forget" thing. The driver still needs to give input to operate appropriately, especially in urban areas or when navigating through lots of intersections.
The biggest payoff for me is where I live...
I was in the exact same situation you are with one minor difference, I had an old F350 that I used to tow and do truck stuff with that I sold to cover the MME negative equity. I folded two vehicles into one by purchasing the Lightning.
I went with a loaded Pro trim Lightning, which was a few...
I wonder if that was left by a visitor or by park staff. A park ranger is "the Law" in the park, so it seems like a "concerned citizen" may have left that sticky note.
Either way, that's really odd.
I should have added something similar in my original answer. If I had to do it over, I would skip the Mach-e and go straight to the Lightning. I loved the MME, but I like the Lightning even more...and the Lightning can tow!
I got a Pro ER Max tow at the end of Sept. If I had to do it all over, I would have spent the $ for a higher trim like Flash, Lariat, or a leftover '23 Platinum that my local dealer had for a really good deal but was still a bit too rich for me.
The two things that I really missed with the Pro...
@dr1983 I did mine this way. 4 new wires from the IPMA (driver's side module) to the new CCM. This method doesn't use anything existing, since in my truck, nothing was there.
The hardest part is getting the wires through the firewall grommet. Be extra careful around all of the other wires and...
Go back to step 1 on the first post and trace your steps all the way through.
I reversed my wiring on the CCM plug, check that. When I fixed it, I was able to then program it successfully. Check ALL of your wiring.
I also didn't understand how to use the ForScan master spreadsheet that is...
The APIM is a different module than the IPMA.
Based on what you have written so far, I would suggest that you stop everything and return all of your Forscan changes back to stock (you did make backups before making any changes, right?).
Find some ForScan tutorials and read/watch those so you...
You have something happening. Your last picture shows the distance stripes in front of the tiny picture of the truck underneath the speedometer.
If you haven't got the CCM to show up, make sure you follow this section of the instructions:
IMPORTANT: Disconnect FORScan and turn the truck...
I have done plenty of tweaks and unlocked some hidden options. I totally borked some settings but I made backups and easily recovered.
The OP is doing something much more complicated.
I think it's buried somewhere in this thread, or I might have read it in a different one 🤔.... The short answer was not possible to add BlueCruise, but I can't remember exactly why. Probably another missing module required for the linking to the GPS and mapping is my guess.
With unlimited time...
This is likely what caused your 12v battery to die. The DC-DC converter is only active when you are in the "run" position aka "key on, engine on", or for the Lightning, pushing the start button with your foot on the brake pedal or "ready" condition.
If you are in position I, aka "key on, engine...
When I was dealing with this in my older thread, the consensus seemed to be that I needed the RFA for PAAK and/or WAL.
If you end up going to a dealer for this, post whatever the outcome is. Maybe there is something hidden that we aren't getting to?
I feel like there have been a few other forum members that have run into this and said that the free licence still worked for them. The only thing I can suggest is to be patient and see if you get any response, or try to find someone close to where you live with an active licence that doesn't...
