  1. Hack for lowering spare tire?

Well, stand by everyone!!! Sorry for misinformation!!! My particular 3/8” that ended up on the end grabbed just fine…but the others I have do not!!! Turns out it is 0.5” needed. So it’s closer to your 1/2” extension, not the 3/8”! Did same thing with my 1/2” extensions and it works much better...
  2. Hack for lowering spare tire?

UPDATE: Please see my reply a few posts down!!! I may have jumped the gun…sort of! Ok, so I’ve owned multiple F150s since 2006, and maybe I’m slow, but I never knew this hack before today. I’ve always lowered the spare on occasion to keep the mechanism free and check the condition of the...
  3. How do you change battery percentage in Apple Maps??

Interesting. Thanks for the information about planning on a Mac.
  4. How do you change battery percentage in Apple Maps??

Planning a trip and I’ve done the calculation with ABRP, and it says I’ll arrive at a Supercharger with 12% remaining. I want to cross reference with Apple Maps…but it always shows me leaving with my current battery level sitting here today (60%) Obviously this doesn’t help me plan for me trip...
  5. Recommendations to fix a tire puncture?

Can’t see if you posted a photo or not. I’ve started fixing my own for the past 5 years or so. Buy a good quality kit, and it’s not hard at all. Takes all of 10-15 minutes. Never had one fail. Just make sure it’s fixable puncture and meets all the requirements of not close to sidewall, size...
  6. Air flow on drivers side door vent lackluster?

Crazy you posted this…I was just thinking today how horrible the drivers door side vent is!! It’s not even close the front center vents. I feel like I have to crank the AC a crazy amount if the sun is shining in on me. Ive only driven F150s since 2009…never had this issue before.
  7. Good video of finding your factory door code!

Ok, my bad if it’s only for 2024s. Didn’t watch close enough obviously.
  8. Good video of finding your factory door code!

I feel like this has been asked many times, and usually the person is pointed to finding the card in the glovebox or somewhere else in the truck. I have to admit, though, I had not seen this method shown and demonstrated clearly. Tim is a great resource in the Ford Community!!

  10. Ford Navigation always been this optimistic?

Yeah, with the lightnings good initial charge curve no matter when plugged in, that seems much more realistic than mine. I’ll run the route again today and see if the glitch has been fixed!
  11. Ford Navigation always been this optimistic?

Haha. Like I said, it’s been a minute since I’ve taken a DC charging road trip, but I have taken a few! I tried different chargers on the planning and they were all in that sub 10 minute for 50-70 percent of the battery replenishment!
  12. Ford Navigation always been this optimistic?

Haven’t used the Ford Navigation for a road trip in a while. I thought I remember it being fairly close-ish on estimations. Was looking at a route last night and it showed this stop (350kw I think) and it said it would take only 9 minutes from 15 to 71%???? Now, I dont road trip a whole...
  13. Manufacturer Defect or Dealer Disregard

That plastic comes on lots of Ford vehicles. Our brand new. Bronco Sport was just as bad sitting on the lot. Dealer took it to a detailer and they got it 95% back to good. Somebody wiped yours with a dirty rag. But, good news is, you can get them back to new looking again. Also, no, it did...
  14. Update: F-150 Lightning Fast Charging Tesla Adapters Start Shipping TODAY Per Ford!

  15. XLT OEM Bed Lights Install

Long time follower of this issue as well. Tried the install, no tow tech, did not work. Hoping someone smarter comes along!!
  16. Jim Farley talks about switch to NACS

I also received the price promised initially on a Pro. Your comment is spot on. They didn’t produce enough however.
  17. OEM Mudflap Design update (maybe?). No more drilling required

This. I ordered and installed the Lightning specific ones over a year ago now. No drilling required.
