So im in the 11/14 build week - got built on 12/15 I think - it was a long wait lol. Then I was scheduled for deilvery on 12/13-12/19 and this morning I got the lovely updated estimated deilvery date of 1/30-2/5

I called ford and they were pretty apologetic but between the winter storm, prior part shortages, and the overall trucker shortage everything seems to be going wrong with my build. Im hoping for a Christmas miracle though!

SR Lariat built 12/15, got the built email 12/17, and my salesperson sent me an unsolicited email this morning that the truck was released, but there's a delay getting on a train.

Still on the fence if I want to trade in my FE Mach E and take delivery. I've got price protection PCO, but I won't qualify for the tax credit in 2023. In California, my Mach E is still getting some great cash offers, not quite what they were a couple months ago, but I'm still very surprised.

My estimated delivery moved today from 12/18-12/24 to 12/29-1/4

I was blend 12/6, built 12/14

dealer has confirmed that my truck now shows as released to their inventory so we are just awaiting shipment

Got an email today (12/22) that said it was built with an estimated delivery of 12/30 to 01/05. I checked the website and it said it was "built" on 12/20.

I had already resigned myself to getting the truck in early spring 2023 and not getting the tax credit. Now to possibly miss it by 2 or 3 days. Oh well, First World Problems!

I got both the built and shipped emails hours apart. Supposedly delivery 12/31-1/6 to TX. Sent a note to my dealer to see if they know anything further

If you ordered before the bill was signed on aug16…Maybe you can get the $3750 phase out amount under the old law

In the past week three people have had trucks delivered but the Ford tracker hadn’t moved to shipped yet. Anything’s possible.

Exactly what mine did. One day I just received a Ford email saying it was at the dealer getting final preparation

Makes no sense. order date means nothing in regards to obtaining the tax credit. Just the binding contract prior 8/16, but simply ordering before 8/16 does not qualify as a binding contract.

I read that they extended the battery tax credit till March of next year

Got my "Shipped" email this morning at 4:14am central...I'm in the Houston area.

I would look into that deeper. I have heard what binding agreement means may not apply to this. Something like at least 5% of the value none refundable deposit and may be other conditions. A little fuzzy about it but Rivian guys were trying to take advantage of this and those that didn’t want to mess with the law gave up on it.
