My Lariat was delivered to the dealer this past Monday night, unfortunately (sort of) I'm on vacation and can't pick it up. I'm excited and apprehensive, and scheduled to see it in person on 2.8.2023 (pics attached are from 1.31.2023 at the dealership).

I trust Ford will honor the MY22 pricing. My dealer indicated, after the order was officially placed, a market adjustment (MA) of $3,000. I was outraged/awe-struck that such a thing could occur. Initially I could'nt believe that MSRP was the starting point, last I knew, only a fool payed MSRP - but that was apparently quite a while ago.

Anyway, the question is - will the dealer stick to the verbal MS indication of $3,000? As I understand it, to qualify under the current law for a $7,500 tax credit the cost needs to be under $80k. Will cost be the final amount paid, MSRP, Total or what?

In addition, why should the dealer get to dictate the MA? At what point will that be too much? So, I'm torn. I really want to buy this truck. But I don't want to pay too much - I initially (back in late 2020 early 2021) set the outer limit at $80k, but maybe $85k???

Anyway, it's a helluva truck. And to those that have one, you lucky bas*%#$s, I hope to join you soon - but I dunno.

Someone bailed on their order at my dealership so I jumped on it yesterday. Wasn’t sure on the color from some pictures but really love it in person. The handling and acceleration is incredible, I’m really impressed so far. Now I just need to track down my charger from Sunrun….

Congratulations! Based on my experience, make sure your dealer has completed and submitted all the sales paperwork. That is the trigger for Ford to notify Sunrun so they'll ship it. You can follow up with Sunrun's CS but if they haven't been notified of the sale, they might just confirm you information but they're waiting for Ford's notification before shipping. I got mine pretty quickly after following up with my dealer.

All dealers have access to the letter template from corporate, the sales manager or F&I manager should be on top of this.

Section 30D clean Vehicle credit form. The sales rep I’ve deal with have no clue on it however I dropped by the dealership past Wednesday while picking up the license plate. He ask the manager there and based on what the manager told the sales it’s by law (2023) they have to provide that form to the buyer. See below, pulled it from another thread.

@Ford2death , your original truck order is still stuck at the factory, weird thing is the tracker rolled back to "CONFIRMED ORDER" even though the bullets show dates up to BUILT!!

nice touch emailing a photo of your lightning at the end of the line. Don't suppose those of us with trucks stuck in the lot will get one, but I'll settle for anything at this point. (build completed on 2/5 but I'm still waiting)

Based on the metadata, it looks like the original file date is: 2022-12-26 10:39:36
I guess that makes sense with my blend date of 12/16

It also had and original file name of: 20221217_125748_[MY VIN].jpg
So I think I am assured that this really is my truck and not just some other Avalanche Pro lol
