Got an update on chat today! It's getting close, just a couple hours away now!

What does it say on your sticker for final ramp? Mine was RA34 mesquite. From there it showed up same day!

did any of you that are ahead of me, completed the purchase online? what does that do? any Pros? Any Cons?

I tried. It kept throwing errors, gave me a lowball trade, an interest rate 3 points higher than the dealer, some funky math, so I would not recommend it. I'm thinking all it does is send what you want to do to the dealer anyway. An illusion to buying online.

The dealership needs to clean, top off the charge, etc.

You should always pick up a new car in the daytime anyway. That way you can check the paint over before driving off the lot.

Mine was 89% charged from factory so dealer topping off is maybe not needed unless you are driving long distance.

New cars are like new houses, they have issues just because no one has really used it real world other than what they did at the factory to QC it. Definitely check for damage, rattles, mine has this dent in the rear speaker grill. I didn't find it until I got home:

Hell no! New truck should be new. Smallest issue is game, even if it's a tiny chip or scratch. Make them fix. I must be getting old cause I didn't see it, my wife did first thing when I got home. I asked the dealer if they could order a plate and swap it out.

What goes under Max credit allowable? Don't we need to wait for March for that?

My sales man freaks out as soon as he hears the word tax. I can tell he is zoned out and has the auto response ready: "you will have to talk to your tax consultant". I have a feeling, I need a bit of arm twisting for them to sign this form.

Oh...I guess up to you. I personally would take it home as you might find other issues that it needs to go back for anyway.

For something like my issue they could have just swapped it with another F150 on the lot if they had another Lariat or Platinum with B&O speakers. I once had them do that when I bought a F150 and there was a scratch on the taillight. They just picked another F150 and swapped it out before I took it home.

I just had a chat with Ford CS as I'm still stuck on 12/20 on the torture-o-meter as last update on "build." Delivery estimate moved to 1/6-1/9 a few days ago. CS telling me the truck is built and that it's awaiting shipment. I'm not buying it but who the hell knows. Trying to get the dealer to do a little more research.

And now the dealer sent me this LOL: "It is built it shows in my system on hold waiting on chips. It still shows in my system to expect it between the 9th and the 14th. That is not always accurate."

Anyone who isn't confused clearly has no idea what's going on.

Just a PSA for those you taking delivery soon and have BlueCruise Hands-free note that there is an issue where the trucks are shipping with Handsfree expired maps, and it will not work.

You can tell if you have the issue if you go into Settings -> General -> About and check the date "Hands-free driving mode available through 10-12-2022". That was my date and clearly in the past (it's backwards so Dec 10, not Oct)

I talked to Ford and that pretty much went nowhere but then this morning, aka Day 3 of ownership, out of the blue it started working while I was on the highway. I checked and my date is now 13-04-2023. This is also happening to 23 Mach-E's and seems to have started mid/late Dec.

I am in MD and mine got here very quickly. It was in built status the day before it was on dealer lot and never got a shipping date. They made the scheduled delivery worse and then better than original in a matter of days. Things could be better than you know.

It’s likely because they are updating their systems. They just moved to a new software to track things and no at CS and dealers adopted it yet. Supposed to be forced adoption in February i read

Would just like better communication regarding changes to delivery estimates from Ford. Incredibly frustrating to get an official email with "Great News" and telling me how exciting this is with estimate of 12/28 - 1/3 and then hear nothing from them until I call this week and am now told 1/27 - 2/3.
